Loved the ambience and the servers were super friendly! We got food and drinks and although the prices were a little high - we really enjoyed the red curry with duck. Such a cute bar and would definitely come back to try their other food items.

Great food, beautiful intimate space and amazing service staff!! I’ve come here on multiple occasions for dinner and the food/drinks are always great, I love that the restaurant is always making updates to the menu and there’s always something new to try in addition to their staples items. I also had the opportunity to host a wedding here and had an awesome experience dealing with the entire staff team. Service was impeccable, down to all the little details and food/drinks were great of course. Would highly recommend this place for any occasion, from casual dinners to events.

Delicious and unique Thai food! Lots of fun twists and flavors. I appreciated how much of the menu could be made vegetarian or vegan with Impossible meat. There really was something for everyone. Our server was absolutely lovely and the vibe is great and relaxed. Only thing I’d recommend is maybe some carpets somewhere in the restaurant?? Even with all of the windows open, it was sooo loud in there (just from guests talking! Music was fine) that I could barely hear the people at my own table. Otherwise great overall experience!

This place is great. We've sat in the front of the restaurant a couple of times now - when the Sam James coffee shop closes, the restaurant sits a big table in the front (about 8 people comfortably). You sit at a low table and it's like having your own private dining room! The food is also incredible - I would say it's the best Thai food I've had in the city. I went with a group of friends who have different eating requirements, and our server was super knowledgeable about the food and helped us with our order. Everybody ate really well. Our server also recommended some great wines to us - there are a lot of good ones to choose from! We had a great evening and I'm looking forward to coming back soon!

Super cozy spot located behind Sam James. Our server was super nice and friendly throughout our visit. Easy 5 stars for service. Unfortunately with our food, we have to give it 3 stars.Pork secreto was the star of the night. AAA tenderloin Thai tartare was a close second and third favourite of the night was their razor clam special. We did find the impossible pork on the pineapple bites salty. The charcoaled grill veggies had a great sauce that accompanied the dish.We decided on a tasting menu and my initial thought with chef’s choice was that there’s a fixed price and we would be getting a variety of menu items but it wouldn’t be full size. We were asked about our hunger level and any allergies as they would accommodate what we would be having based on our answers. We got around 6 dishes, one being the special of the night. When we got our bill, each dish was regular price with the exception of the pineapple bites. Our dishes turned out to be full size, recommended by the chef. If we knew about the pricing, we would’ve been comfortable without the curry of kobocha squash (the 6th dish) - we were really full after this. Just an FYI to those reading this review.

Overall, disappointing. Our experience did not match the tone of most reviews here so maybe we came on an off day. There were 4 of us and we were all very disappointed. Server and staff was good but food was not.We started with the 'famous' pineapple bites which were just OK. The Impossible meat they top them with is flavourless in itself, so you're tasting a bunch of seasoning and the pineapple. Not bad but nothing special. We then tried the chicken wings which were decent, but fairly standard fried wings. The Jumbo Prawn Pad Thai was very disappointing - for $30 you get a small heap of saucy rice noodles topped with 2 prawns that have been cut in half. Last we tried the Jungle Curry ($28) which was shockingly sad - a small bowl of extremely watery and flavourless broth with chunks of rubbery boiled chicken. Nothing at all like a regular Thai curry and extremely disappointing.Overall, the food is very lacklustre, even before you consider the price. If you're looking for Thai specifically I highly recommend choosing any other of the fine Thai places in the city.

This place is a hidden gem if you like thai food and look for a cozy atmosphere. We especially liked the skewers and the pad thai, but overall everything was quite tasty. We had the 6 pack Red Stripe which also was good company for the spicy food. Service was pretty fast too, highly recommended!

I'm so impressed and surprised with this place! The venue is behind sam James Coffee, and is super hip ? although pricier, the courses taste really good! The oysters were my fav, and the boozy Thai iced was yep, very extra but great.

Super vegan friendly and delicious!!!

So delicious! My friend and I split the wings, lamb satay, pineapple rice, and the pad Thai. All excellent dishes, especially the pad Thai. The “tea”ramisu dessert was a knockout as well. Every staff member from the moment we arrived was super lovely - Graham was wonderful, friendly and prompt. Will definitely return!
