The server is very sweet...We tried falafel with Pita bread and Janina sandwich both were amazing. For dessert we got almond and pistachios baklava and an almond based dessert ...both were delicious...
Simply incredible. I love the variety in salads that they have here. It's phenomenal if you are on a low carb diet like Keto. I had the chicken shawarma on the salad. It was tasty, flavorful and you can tell that the ingredients were fresh. I would highly recommend this place and will continue to come back here. Owners were very friendly as well
This is top quality food, family owned and operated for decades, at great prices. I've always been treated so well here and many people in the neighborhood rave about this restaurant. It's Lebanese style shawarma sandwiches here, so it's a little different than most other shawarma places. I've never had a better tasting shawarma sandwich in my life though, and I've tried many others to confirm my theory that Falafel world has the best shawarma sandwiches in all of Toronto and the GTA. The falafel sandwich or combination shawarma/falafel sandwiches are great too. There's lots of other lebanese dishes available here too, and the few times i've been able to force myself to not get my favourite shawarma these have been realky good too. I really liked their lentils, eggplant, and their homemade hummus. I know I sound like a total shill but just try a chicken shawarma sandwich with hot sauce from here and you'll be raving too. See you again soon Falafel World!
Have been multiple times to this family run local spot. Chicken shawarma plate, chicken pita and falafel are delicious. Large portions. Welcoming staff and a clean spot. Would recommend!
Great family run restaurant run by great people. The homemade food is made with love. Nice fresh ingredients. I’ve eaten here many times and if I lived closer I’d eat here 4or 5 times a week. I don’t cook. Lol. Delicious and presented well. Awesome healthy food.
Falafel's are second to none. Freshly made not frozen. Wraps are great - made to order. Desserts are made by the owner. Friendly staff - family owned.
Awesome food here. I was served by the owner, who was really kind and welcoming. I got two wraps chicken & veggie. The food looks tasty and really fresh. I was surprised that she gave me one Flafel on the house which in the pic and I ate it like that good job on the food and customer service. Really happy for what I paid for ?
Wow, this place was delicious!! We ordered off ubereats and it arrived fairly quickly, so we were happy with that. My boyfriend is quite picky with middle eastern food so I was really hoping he was content with this. We ordered a bunch of stuff including: samosas, falafel, beef shawarma, chicken shawarma plate, grapeleaves platter, baba ganoush, lentil soup AND balaclava! Yes, we ordered a feast and with tax and delivery fee, we only paid $45!! Great affordable pricing but for quality food. We enjoyed everything. I had the chicken shawarma and the portion was so big, I had it for 3 separate meals. The tahini sauce on it was so delicious. The platter comes with hummus, 2 types of salad, pickled turnips and more! But if you order the platter, you should definitely consider adding the cauliflower. Those were super tasty! The lentil soup was also very good. Would recommend. Lastly, the dessert, balaclava, though quite sweet, it was absolutely delicious. I shared one with my boyfriend and we were very content with it. It was flaky and gooey at the same time but yes, I would recommend sharing it as it’s quite sweet but a great way to end this yummy meal. Would highly recommend this place! And we would definitely order from them again!
I ordered the grape leaves platter, the chicken shawarma platter, falafels, beef shawarma wrap, lentil soup, baba ganoush and baklava. The portions are generous for the platters, added rice and cauliflower for.50 cents each. The platters came with hummus which was smooth and tasty, tabouli which tasted fresh and wasn't watery and a bit of shredded cabbage salad which was nice and light. Also included pickles and pickled beets and pita bread. The chicken and beef shawarma tasted great and was topped with some tahini. The falafels were pretty big and moist. The baba ganoush was really big for the 6.50 I paid for it and had great Smokey flavour.Definitely better than most shawarma/ middle eastern places in the city. Great job falafel world! ?
