2022 February 3.5★Right along the busy streets of Bloor, you'll find this dessert shop sitting right in-between other restaurants and shops.A perfect location for those strolling along the shopping area.Step inside this Hungarian restaurant and you'll see rolls of chimneys being roasted. Swirls of dough wrapped around a cone shape wooden stick, placed on a burner like a rotisserie. Once cooked and browned, the cone is taken off from the burner and generously drizzled with a cinnamon sugar blend or other flavor selections. This is done quickly while still hot as it's sticky even as it's cooked.Once cooled down enough, a solid chocolate sphere is dropped into the cone as the cone is open ended at the tip. This is necessary to ensure the ice cream doesn't just melt through. The ice cream is then put inside the cone and toppings are added on top.Had the original (The O.G.) Though instead of strawberries (which is out of season or stock) they offered a syrup, but they were nice to substitute Oreo crumble instead when asked. The chimney cone was great. Sweet and crispy. The ice cream was lacking. A regular vanilla soft serve. They do have a vegan option.Would recommend coming to try it out. Would come again for the chimney cake.

Tried mango coconut chimney cone… it was very delicious with amazing flavours and I really liked the cone

This was a nice snack to try as someone who loves ice cream. It's a unique dessert. I like that the store is set up so customers can watch while their order is being made, so there's that experience aspect to it. I got the tiramisu variation. It's definitely a lot and will get messy so good to have lots of napkins on hand ?

The ice cream at this place is really gd and there is alot of variations for you to try. I tried the dream cone which is a dream for chocolate lovers and fulfilled my chocolate needs. Definitely would recommend this place for a quick dessert.

Went for burgers and landed up with this innovative huge freshly baked Chimney ice cream cones. So fresh and delicious and can’t believe they have so many vegan options. Mango coconut - Coconut Cone, Mango Coulis, Shredded coconut and dried mango garnish. So tropical and fulfilling. One cone was shared by 2 people and was sufficient. Worth trying this place, specially if vegan.

It was huge!!!! The vanilla soft serve was creamy and heavy which I really like! Their cone made me so full but you’ll love the size of the ice cream.

Capacity limit is currently 4, which is fair for the size of the store inside. They have the menu on the window outside as well as online which is so convenient for deciding while you wait. We ordered an OG and the Oreo cones and we were in and out within 2 minutes. Inside the store was super clean, the staff was friendly and efficient and the cones were SO delicious. It may seem a bit pricey as we paid just over $20 for 2 cones but they are really big and worth it. Definitely will be back!

Service is poor. Very rude with other customers. When asked for vegan, the person served dairy even when we noticed and said they ignored us. Then when they heard they looked at each other and said what did they say rather than ask us to repeat ourselves. Then serv d it wrong again. It was third time lucky. Ice is okay but service could be improved. And make sure you eat fast as it melts very quickly.

Got Uber Eats delivered from Eva’s and I was very impressed. The Chimney Cones held very well as they were sustainably wrapped and tasted super fresh.

Been wanting to try this place for some time now. We ordered Mango Ice ream. It’s basically ice cream in BBQed dough for cone but unlike a traditional closed cone at bottom, the dough cone is open at the bottom and ice cream melts rapidly as cone is hot and comes out from bottom. The paper used to hold it is not meant to get-wet as it quickly breaks down.I would’ve thought dough would’ve been closed at bottom. Its maybe not a bad idea for someone that will wolf it down in 2 minutes before it melts and not meant to be enjoyed as you would a traditional ice cream in cone. Had to toss half in trash, too bad.
