Unexpectedly outstanding, this restaurant must be experienced. The service was attentive and impeccable as was each course of the meal which was delivered with perfect timing at just the right temperature. The ambiance is intimate and allows you to imagine youâre at some exotic local.
Perfectly executed food, with a challenged delivery. Dropped cutlery, awkward delivery of glasses and dishes. Wine accompaniments were absurdly miserly. A restaurant that aspires to being a 1 or 2 star Michelin establishment with associated prices but lacking the skills to deliver on the experience beyond the kitchen.
We had one of the very best Michelin * experience at enigma. The chef was kind enough to accommodate our last minute request for vegetarian course at the chefs table and it was mind blowing.. Perfect portions on each course and great spread of Seafood and protein options for the non-vegetarian courses Not to mention the Amazing service from start to finish:) overall a 5 star experience and we plan to be back for more dinners

Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish
This restaurant is fantastic. I brought my mom, sister, and two of my moms best friends to celebrate her 60th. Theyâre still raving about it. We did the 8 course meal, two of us did the premium wine tasting, 2 the cocktail tasting, and my pregnant sister did a non-alcoholic tasting. It was incredibly impressive that they had that as an option. This is a truly unique dining experience and if youâre willing to spend money for a special occasion, well worth it. The staff and service is among the best Iâve experienced in my lifetime. The only downside is that the add ons were way more expensive than I expected. For example, $50 for a small scoop of caviar for one of the courses, and even higher for truffle shavings on another. These items make an already expensive meal even more so, and are very hard to turn down when their costs are unclear during the meal itself. The flavor value of these add ons for their price did not seem worth it, given the incredible dishes themselves, and felt like gouging when presented with the bill. A bad vibe to end what was otherwise a truly unique experience. Iâll certainly be recommending Enigma to friends and family with the caveat to beware the overpriced add ons.
We had the 8 course menu. Portions were appropriate so that we weren't overfull. Each dish had many flavors. I had the non-alcoholic pairings. I wish that I could make these drinks they were that good. Enigma should be Canada's first Michelin starred restaurant!
Utterly delicious!! True feast for the palate, and eyes. Exquisite ingredients. Complex taste constructions. A unique experience. If you are a foodie, this is a must! Personal and highly attentive service, with Chef visiting tables. His passion for perfection is tangible. Don't miss the opportunity for world class creations!
