I’m so glad I took the trip from the west end to try this hidden gem! I’ve been looking for Venezuelan places to show my fiancé how good our food is and this place really showcases it. We had the ‘venezolanito’ which was a fantastic way to try several things on the menu on one dish (great choice to start if you’re unsure of what to eat since everything looks delicious) we also had the ceviche which was sooooo yummy and the presentation was beautiful. They let us sit in their super cute patio with our pup which is a huge plus and service was also really good and welcoming, totally recommend visiting El Venezolano! Food was really really good. We had the arepas, patacone, and the ceviche. The staff was very very good and tentative and friendly. We are a celiac at family and they tended to all of our gluten-free needs. Although they had no gluten-free desserts and my son was very disappointed they went in the back and got him some ice cream free of charge. That really made the dinner. I recommend this restaurant to anyone especially celiac families.
Love the food, everything tastes great, but twice in a row I had issues with the drink packaging. This time, it spilled on top of all the food. Last time it dripped in a separate bag. The drink packaging is too weak, it needs improvement. Unfortunately, I won't be ordering any drinks again.
First time here...we ordered arepas and sweet plantain..special orders to the chef due to my food allergiesThe steak delicious, the arepas were not greasy, really tasty!

Was here with my family and friends for Sunday lunch: the food and service was fantastic, and prices were reasonable. The Parilla Mixta is advertised for two, but it can easily feed 3. Come and enjoy fantastic Venezuelan food.

We tried this restaurant a couple months ago and I still think about it every week. The food here is fantastic and it was really cool to try food from a country we have not yet experienced! I would highly recommend giving this place a try. It’s so good.
Such a disappointing experience. Dined here while visiting family and friends in the TO area, and was encouraged by the great reviews. Although the food was decent, the service was super slow and it felt like our presence in the restaurant was an annoyance. Also, no masks worn by the staff! Everyone has off-days, but the service here was unprofessional and we won't be returning.
Reminded me of being a little girl, back in Venezuela. They were inviting and the food was absolutely delicious. Worth every penny, although not to pricey. This is my new favorite spot. Go check it out!
