This was my first visit to this particular Eggspectation location and my wife and I went for a late breakfast/brunch.I had the French toast with eggs, bacon and home fries. All of it was very tasty, especially the French toast which they got just right. Plus they gave a generous portion of maple syrup which is a must IMO. They had run out of oat milk so I didn't get to try their coffee this time.My wife went for their Mac and cheese with bacon and it was very oily. They used penne pasta not the usual macaroni. Flavour it was good, but the oiliness made it too much for her to finish. My food was a solid 5 stars but my wife's was a 3 at best so I gave a generous 4 stars. If you visit hear maybe avoid the Mac and cheese!

Food 4/5Substitute potatos with salads for the omelette. Salad dressing was poor and the omelette was just alright. The blackstone Benedict is so-so. The homemade potatoes was the most tasty one.Services:3/5I’m sorry for us having that bad customer service. And I’m sorry for that lady who serviced us who had a terrible mood and attitude that day.

FOOD: 4/5The classic breakfast was alright. Eggs were the way I like 'em. The French toast was nice and sweet. Bacon was way too crispy to the point that I couldn't even chew on it. The sneaky tactic of charging extra for fruit was not cool. Who the hell wants to eat potatoes in the morning? A fruit salad should be the default. The menu lacks photos which would make ordering a perfect meal that much easier. Overall, I had a filling breakfast, but there are some great alternatives in the area to consider:- Aroma (20 Wellington St East #2)- Paddington's Pump (91 Front St East)SERVICE: 5/5Great service! No complaints whatsoever.

After eating at Eggspectation in Montreal and loving it (we don't have it on the East Coast) I decided to stop in here for brunch during a visit to Toronto. The place was full but the host offered to take my number and call when a table opened up. Thankfully this only took about 20 minutes. The service was friendly and prompt and the good came out pretty quickly. We both ordered the Eggs Benedict and it was fantastic. This place definitely knows how to do a proper eggs Benny!

Decent restaurant. Clean. Nice looking. Food is 4/5. Just missing a little bit of everything. I would definitely go back.

Good classic brunch

Delicious food, big portions, and great customer service! It was our first time here as it was highly recommended by family, and it did not disappoint. Great menu options to pick from! Everything was so fresh and delicious! We will definitely come back here next time we're in Toronto!! Thank you for your excellent customer service and fantastic breakfast!!

Went for breakfast after dropping a family member off at the island airport for an early flight. Staff were friendly and courteous, however, food was mediocre at best and some of our eggs came to the table lukewarm, as if it had been sitting out for awhile. While we were sitting to eat we noticed two cockroaches crawling on the walls close to our table. The place didn't seem dirty, so it was a surprise. It was our first and last visit to this restaurant.

Everything was very spotless and clean. The food was plated well and looked very appetizing. Service and dining ambience was excellent. We went for brunch, and ordered the Chicken 'N Waffles ($16.95) and the Classic (Egg) Benedict ($14.95). Both orders came out alright but could have been better. The watermelon included in the Classic Benedict tasted bland and could have been sweeter. The potato wedges will have been fried a few moments longer.I would have wanted to give full marks but I think they also may have had my hot beverage order wrong. I inquired if they have a coffee and tea menu, and the server mentioned they don't but they should most likely have most of the drinks available. I then asked for London Fog, however the server did not seem to know what it was so I just made it more general and instead asked for Earl Grey tea. Then later on looking at my receipt what shows on the item list ordered is Orange Pekie Tea. Now I am not sure if they even had my drink order right. I was preocuppied with my time eating, and with my companion so I did not really mind the drink as it was served. This relatively minor mix up or confusion kept it from being a perfect overall experience.

The food was OK, it was overpriced for the quantity and quality. 14$ for a single Belgium waffle is a bit much. I probably won't be going back here
