This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. They are not kid friendly at all and have ZERO customer service skills. Not only did they not seat us in any restaurants (because we were with kids) they were incredibly rude! They didn’t make any substitutions ( we have for penne pasta instead of spaghetti for one meal for my kid) they responded “it’s not the Italian way!” Clearly they’ve never been to Italy as when I was there with my kids they were the most sweetest and accommodating people I’ve ever met! I WILL NEVER go back here.
Its a good place to have everything Italian right in the middle of Toronto. Situated at Bloor street, its ideally situated and connected well through public transit. You can get all Italy grocery and meats here. We tried their La Pizza, La Pasta restaurant and it was good. Their pizzas are must try. Portions are small though. Its a very noisy place. Not ideal if you are looking for private and intimate dinners.
i went there for lunch with my wife and son, we order pizza and pasta. the food was very good, the service was very good, but i give it a 3 out of 5 cause at the beginning the waiter was very good and polite but after paying and adding a tip to the amount (guess the tip did not satisfied the waiter) his behavior changes and became rude.
Attended the event Discover Eataly on Friday July 22, 2022 and was totally disappointed considering the amount paid for entry and what I received was not worth the cost. Had to stand and jungle my food not to mention you get one glass to try different wines by the time i got to the 3rd station my glass needed a wash. Also it advertised until 9:30 and by 8:45 most of the stations had nothing left. I feel totally ripped off paying 85.00 for literally a little piece of focaccia and a slice of prosciutto. Would never recommend total rip off and was really disappointed.
At the center of the downtown core, very convenient if taking public transit. Good Italian food, many choices. Also can buy ingredients from the supermarket. Fresh made pasta, seafood, lots of cheese. Had lunch in one of the restaurants, it tasted so good. The only complaint is that they serve a bit slow because the kitchen is further away. Anyways, very friendly servants.
If you like Italian anything, this place a must to check out. There are 3 floors of all things Italian and more.Pastries, restaurants, brewery, grocery items like fresh produce and unique options imported from Italy. Helpful signage, spacious and organized, it is difficult to take it all in. Will have to come many more times to look at all the options more closely. So happy to have found a little bit of Italy right here in Toronto.
Really exciting concept! We chose to eat at the Milano restaurant. The pizza was very yummy, but on the small size. The ozzobucco risotto was okay, but I will likely try something else should we go back. The drinks were very meh.It was fun to check out the market after- we would have definitely shopped if we weren’t going to be out for the majority of the day.
Eataly has been opened for a. Long time but its my first time there this morning !!It's a WOW place!! You could get any kind of Italian gourmet food and wine there, very spacious on the second floor , lots of chairs and tables that are separated in different seating areas .Love the pasta and sausage sections , so much to choose from.Wine, wine and wine ? , Cheers ??
Update--> I went back over and over again, and every time they surprise me with their delicious and fresh foods! I tried pasta, pizza from all stations and restaurants, coffee, gelato, tiramisu...everything amazing specialty that tiramisu ?First visit--> The best experience I've ever had in the Italian restaurant category! I recommend this place to everyone. Too many great choices in one place. Pizzas looked so yummy as well as fresh pasta, grilled chicken and beef sandwiches were to die for… We tried fried seafood and milk gelatos? as well as some desserts with our coffee ☕️. I will go back very soon to try those amazing pizzas ? and will update my review.
Lovely atmosphere and good food! For the restaurant, the food comes from different stations (pasta, pizza, e.t.c.) so not all food comes at once. Sharing is recommended :)In the same building there are a bunch of different stores (wine, cheese, groceries, fresh pizza & pasta …) Everything Italian in one building ?
