Delicious Vietnamese street food with an urban twist, directly across from the AGO this is worth staying for dinner.Come with friends, share plates.I personally really enjoyed the wings and the drinks were excellent and well made.
Great date spot, quick lunch, or takeout. A colleague couldn’t stop raving about it so I gave in and went with him for dinner after work. The tacos in specific were what we came for and they definitely hit. We got an order of chicken, beef and pork. We liked them least to most in that order. Definitely on the pricier side, but the dining experience on the patio and solid food more than made up for it.Already see myself coming back after a visit to the AGO for date night.
Came here on a Friday night and it was really easy to find parking. The food was delicious and some of the drinks were really good as well. I ordered the Old Hanoi drink, thinking it would be similar to an Old Fashioned but I was way off!We had a group of 8 and TAKE NOTE: they do not do separate bills for parties of 6 or more. The place has a nice vibe and great food! I would definitely come here again. The one knack against this place is the food service was extremely slow. The final dish had to be cancelled because it didn’t come by the time everyone finished eating. Very very slow.
The Drinks/Cocktails were so delicious!! I loved the menu. GET THE SPRINGROLLS. They are wow! Good options for vegans. Incredible flavors and colors in the dishes and the owner was so lovely. It’s definitely a cool, young, vibe. They also have a DJ on Saturday’s, so a great place to start the buggy.
if you wanted cool aesthetics and atmosphere, this place is the place to be! the menu consists of mainly fusion food between Western and Viet cuisine. however, note that some menu items are limited to certain days of the week (mostly towards the end of the week/weekend). our group ended up not being able to order what we wanted because it wasn't available.
BRUNCH REVIEW:Went on a Sunday afternoon to try their new brunch menu and for the most part did not disappoint.First and foremost the space itself is just chill to be in and the service was great.Drinks - got both the regular viet coffee and the egg crème which I’ve never tried before and wouldn’t say it’s better or worse than the regular but definitely worth trying once. Regular one was on point.Food - Banh Khot Mini Pancakes were my absolute favorite, I could eat that for the rest of my life and be happy with it. VFC & Pandan Waffle tasted crispy and right off the press for both. I’ve never had a pandan waffle but the sweet combined with the salty of the chicken was a perfect mix. Not much to say for the Chicken Pho other than it tasted refreshing and clean, a great dish to cleanse the soul (and they used thick noodles!).Overall, it’s on the pricier side especially considering two blocks down you can get pho for half the cost but the twist they add on their dishes is worth checking out along with the cool vibes from the space - it’s the cheapest way to feel like you’ve travelled to Asia!
Loved the Viet twist on North American junk food. 13/10 would go back but think the food needs a few tweaks. The sriracha wings were MF’in amazing. The pho poutine was delicious but the pho broth at the bottom made the fries soggy. I get the point of the broth but would have preferred corn starch thickened pho broth so the fries weren’t soggy. The viet pizza was delicious but too sweet. We got some lime wedges are squeezed them onto it to cut through the heavy sweetness.Really enjoyed the dragonfruit mock tail. Would get many many of these.
Saw this place from my friends ig post and decided to give it a try. I was blown away from the interior design when I walked in, it was decorated nicely and gave Vietnam's vibes.I ordered the Saigon chicken wings, and originally wanted the beef w egg on rice, however, the server punched in the wrong order and got me the sizzling beef on rice. Although I was anticipating for the beef with fried egg, this one ordered and given to me by error was good too. The chicken wings were nicely seasoned and tastes really good. My boyfriend got the bun with grilled chicken and he said that the chicken was very flavourful.Overall, the foods was good! They did have a wait time, so heads up if you want to come here, make a reservation through the phone, they take reservations for 2 people now too.
Delicious authentic Vietnamese street food. Great portions for a reasonable price. Loved the cocktail menu there. I had Old Hanoi, which was awesome and came with real wood smoke. It is similar to old fashion cocktail. I like that the tables were far from each other to maintain the social distancing. Overall great place. Will come back again.
Visited for the first time today and I LOVED it! First of all, the decor/ambiance is so amazing. A modern and artsy representation of Vietnam with so many beautiful lanterns and other fun art. The food was so good! They have a vegetarian option with fake beef which was delicious. My friend had a short rib pho which she loved! The drinks looked amazing though we didn’t have my. The service was great too.
