An amazing little place tucked into a street on Bloor, Daily Grind is hands down one of the best cafés I’ve been at in Toronto. The brunch was very generous, everything was made fresh on the spot, and the coffee and juice options were very unique. We had the Au Porc, Avocado Toast, and The Carnivore as well as the Turmeric Latte and Mango Orange juice. The only downside was that there’s a little bit of a wait for the food to come, but I’d say it’s definitely worth it. I’ll totally come back here more often this summer!

Cannot leave this place without leaving a recommendation, super hospitable servers! Had an amazing filling brunch i wish I had space for more, hehe. I included photo of a cappuccino and the spiced omelette (the edamame spread was so good with the toasted sourdough bread!)If you need brunch, this is a place to go!

My experience with this location was poor. The food was not like the picture I ordered from, the pancakes were tiny and unreasonable for the $14 price point. The staff weren't demonstrating good customer service. The cashier wasn't friendly and the host was less than accommating and pushy to have me leave. For the response: I'm sorry, but I was nothing but friendly when I came in. I wasn't upset but accomodating regarding me getting a seat. The place was small for more than a few people. Trust me, I understood. What shocks me is the lack of customer service I received and the picture did not match the picture on the menu. Ok, so the pancakes were half the size of the photo, logically, it would make sense for less prize considering it's false advertising and not what I was expected. Again, how your response was to my review was unkind. From all the restaurants I did visit, the service here wasn't friendly, and I felt like the amount I paid which was the same as the amount to who gets a seat should get the same size amount of food - which I did not receive.I'm not talking bad about a small business. I support small businesses. It's quite rude for you to assume that about me. Of course you're going to stand by your wife, I wouldn't expect less. I reviewed multiple places and support them when the service is actually good. I'm going to move past that and your judgements when you never met or dealt with me. I'm being honest: point of review.

Pleasant layout with good coffee, however not the best with dietary restrictions. Ordered a shakshuka with tofu instead of eggs. Server returned to inform they were out of tofu, so I opted for salmon on the side. Was served the meal with poached eggs, so I informed the kind server of my allergy and was quickly served what I thought was an eggless meal. Wasn’t able to finish my meal before several anaphylaxis symptoms occurring. Could be cross contamination, but looking back I suspect it was the same meal with the eggs taken out. Never returning.

This place is so underrated! I go for brunch, coffee, and now i've had the pork banh mi and can only say great things about this place! My ten year old nephews loved their french toast and waffles. If you're an eggs benny type of person, hands down the best brunch spot for it.

Such a lovely cafe. They’ve just started with indoor dining and place can be limited definitely recommend visiting over weekdays . We tried their famous ube French toast it was delish, would’ve loved lil more I’ve on the toast ? the croissant egg breakfast was also tasty. Hot chocolate can be avoided.

The cutest little shop tucked away just off of Bloor. The staff is so friendly, Mae is such a sweetheart, and the food is delicious! My favourites are the Vietnamese coffee and the Benny. I highly recommend this spot for brunch.

Words cannot describe how amazing this place is. Firstly, it’s super convenient and right near Landsdowne Station! Secondly, the service and overall vibe is stellar; the staff were timely, respectful, and unbelievably friendly and hospitable. Thirdly, the food and drinks are out of this world! I have not a single bad thing to say about Daily Grind, and it is a MUST if you live in or are visiting Toronto and are looking for a great brunch location!

Only popped in for a coffee but will be enjoying brunch here ASAP. Amazing staff & amazing vibes! We talked about Halloween (obviously it’s fast approaching!)

Great option for weekday brunches. Meal options were good and the food tasted great. Will definitely visit again.
