I'm new in the hood and I found this boutique market! They have lots of options from local vendors, I got the Empanadas from House of Empanadas and the gluten homemade lasagna YUMMM!Also the coffee it's amazing!
I live around the corner from here and it’s great coffee just way too expensive. How the heck can you pay $7 for an iced latte and feel okay about it. I used to be a regular because the staff are lovely and they let my dog come in with me but it’s just insanely priced. The owner must be the greediest mofo out there, because I’m pretty sure they raised their prices recently. And poor Baristas! Im sure not a lot of patrons are tipping on a $7 coffee. Im over it and have moved on to other local spots.
Good coffee but I felt like I got completely ripped off. There’s no way a latte should ever cost more than $7 for standard beans. Absolute madness. Definitely will not be returning unless they address their egregious price gouging. The only reason I didn’t give 1 star is that the barista was very nice.
It became so overpriced that I’m not sure I’ll come back. $8 iced coffee with almond milk, no extra quality for the price. If you have the deep pockets, please do enjoy what used to be middle class two years ago. Otherwise, very nice place to work (large tables with plugs), or shop for gifts or high end groceries. Internet access requires Google or Facebook login —the email option doesn’t work. Free parking is very convenient.
This place is dope!Every time I go I leave with a smile (thanks to the wonderful employees and outstanding customer service).Would recommend the Croque Monsieur (so succulent, it totally melts in your mouth), also the Oat Milk Cappuccino is top notch.??Lastly, they always play amazing music here; including artists like Khruangbin!Heaven on earth for sure; great spot to sit for a few hours and get work done. :]
The coffee was actually really good here but this place is crazy expensive. A grilled cheese sandwich costs $14.50 for two pieces of bread, cheese and pesto. I spent $20 on a small latte, cookie and a very dry muffin. Great coffee shops are a dime a dozen in Toronto and they cost less than here.
The vibe was great. Ample space to work out take a break. A well stocked gourmet foods section and great coffee. Definately with a drop by.
Cozy and nice place, but the drinks aren't that incredible compared to the prices they have. It's just ok. They also have local food that you can by, which is also overpriced since it's "local", but looks fancy (if you like that). However, the staff is nice and they have a big seating zone where you can work with your laptop.
They have Pilot roasts on offer, which we love to see. The coffee was well made, and they have a variety of milk alternatives. My only gripe is that I wasn’t able to get a pour over or drip - they had run out of brewed coffee by the time we arrived in the early afternoon, so it was espresso only.
Overpriced, food not the greatest quality. Ordered a cafe misto, latte, cookie and smoked salmon toast. The coffees were good which is why I gave an extra star. The salmon toast was $16.95 and just one small piece of toast with cream cheese. It was drenched in lemon juice and had a lot of salt on it. I also asked for no lemon, but it was still on there and super sour. I couldn’t stomach it. Very disappointing.
