Everything is tasty and the desserts are to die for.
Great service and ambiance. Food was very good - fairly standard fare for high tea - but the desserts were outstanding. Great selection of interesting teas. Would recommend for those wanting a high tea experience.
Food was absolutely horrible. Had afternoon tea in the UK several times and this seemed like an insult on British traditions. We came back and read other reviews who felt exactly the same way we did; sandwiches were dry and bland, desserts tasted horrible, scones were small and dry, tea quality was decent but still on the blander side. Not sure why the pricing was so high for such underwhelming taste. Sorry for the horrible review but will not be recommending for anyone to try afternoon tea and would rather discourage family and friends from going.
The service was excellent. The food was excellent. The new location blocked off in the entrance hall opposite the check-in location was not excellent. The tables were tiny with very little room. There were no signs indicating where the tea was being held.
The food was great but the service was exceptional. Paul, our server was just incredible! We had a vegetarian amongst us and we forgot that she was. When we asked Paul for the menu to see the ingredient list, Paul went out of his way to accommodate us, even though we didn't ask! He brought out extra vegetarian options, at no extra charge! Honestly didn't think this kind of service existed anymore. Incredible! We will all definitely be back!

Excellent Service, knowledgeable staff, seating area was a little noisy as a result of being next to hotel reception but otherwise a very enjoyable experience overall. Would recommend to friends and family
Scones, tea sandwiches, desserts, and tea served in gold-rimmed china! What a lovely and elegant experience!
For the price of the high tea I kind of expected better. The breads were all super super stale!
Nice afternoon interlude. Felt a bit rushed. Duck confit and Coronation chicken sandwiches were very good. Scones good. Jam superb. Milk bread sandwiches were stale. Overall, a good tea in interesting surroundings.
