Super tasty food at a very reasonable price. The food can be shared between friends and they have a super cute indoor and outdoor space. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend you to check them out!

This was a great place to have a variety of Jamaican food. Our table ordered the oxtail stew, curry goat, curry chicken, pepper shrimp, wings, plantain, and patty sampler. The oxtail was seasoned perfectly, tender, with more meat than fat. It was the perfect size for one person and came with rice. The curry goat was the second best rush we ordered. Creamy, nicely spiced and tender without too much fat or bone. The wings were a great appetizer. The plantain was sliced thick and big. The patties were my least favorite, they were under seasoned and I would skip them next time. Everyone loved the pepper shrimp! Definitely going back. Service was also very friendly and helpful.

OMG the customer service was 1000 out of 1000. We had a large party, we did not think about making reservations while on vacation. But the staff make it happen for us, we were seated immediately. Now let’s get to the food, the foooooddddd was amazing. Shout out to the cook, I know they prepared the food like 2-3 days ahead. The chicken was falling off the bone, the shrimp was big and was cooked at a great texture. Everything was so amazing. The restaurant inside was beautiful and well welcoming. I am so grateful to be able to experience the food, atmosphere and the custom service. I’ll be back real soon.

My favorite thing about this place was the customer service. It was outstanding. I'm not a big fan of rice and very spicy food so I ordered the shrimp and the empanadas and they were both delicious. The cocktails were actually tasty not just artificial flavors with a drop of alcohol like a lot of places are. Espresso martini was AMAZING! The place has a lovely décor, great ambience, great music and did not disappoint.

Fantastic tasting food, beautiful staff, they always seem to be on point and attentive. However there is this sense that the food is completely gentrified, while traditionally rice and peas comes standard with oxtails and jerks, so does coleslaw but because the owners of the restaurant aren’t Jamaican they’ve decided to change the rules and hike up the price of the standard combo by separating them, something you’d have to ensure to order together. By separating the common food groups I mentioned above you’re left with a very unauthentic Jamaican cuisine experience.

We had previously tried Chubby's for take out and liked it so we decided to experience the restaurant in full on their patio. The restaurant is quite large and had multiple spaces each with its own ambiance (front patio, back patio, indoor downstairs and indoor upstairs). We opted to sit in the front patio which was brighter than the back patio. We had two mains (half jerk chicken and jerk shrimp) and a bunch of sides (plantains, fried okra, sauteed greens, and fries). The two mains were fantastic and came with a side of slaw which could be substituted with fries. The jerk shrimp came with two skewers of shrimp each with three pieces of shrimp. The plantains were thick pieces (vs slices) and topped with salt flakes. The okra was nice and crispy and came topped with a sweet banana dressing (banana gastrique). The fries were also thick pieces and came dusted in what I think was sweet paprika (?). The seasonal sauteed greens included kale, collard greens, tomato and onions. Overall, a great experience. There is a paid parking lot across the street.

This is great spot for Jamaican food. The atmosphere is nice and the cocktails were great! (Especially the Everything Nice)They gave us SO MUCH sauce free of charge which we really appreciated and the portion sizes were pretty big. I tried the Curry and the Jerk Chicken and while both were tasty, the Jerk didn’t taste too authentic to me. I felt like it could’ve used even more allspice, pepper and cayenne. It just wasn’t as seasoned as I like it. The rest of the meal though was good — the coleslaw was fresh, rice and peas were decent, and the guava pepper sauce was delicious.Overall, really good spot!

The salt fish fritters were my absolute favourite, the plantains were delicious, and the fried okra made me rethink my thought that I'm not a fan of okra. The jerk chicken was moist and flavourful. The jerk pork was spicy and delicious, the collard greens equally spectacular ? Our server, Rose, was joyful, attentive, and just the very best! I didn't get his name but the gentleman who made sure we always had room on our table for all the stuff we ordered was lovely as well. We might've been a bit aggressive on ordering as much as we did but I was glad to get to try a bit of so many things. A taster platter would go over very well IMO. I will be back! I loved it here -- a taste if Island life in the city

Great service! Extremely accommodating to allergies (soy and peanuts in this case). Ordered 2 quarter chickens— one with the marinade and one without due to the soy allergy, pomegranate kale salad, two rice and beans, two of the coconut passion tarts. And the plantain.Favourites included:- rice and beans- plantainJerk chicken was okay but would have maybe enjoyed it more in person instead of at home and reheating it. Passion coconut tart felt a bit dry. Plantain by far was a total hit and favourite. Would definitely order here again. Hot sauce was also divine! Highly recommend it as a side.

Went here November 2021 on a date with my boyfriend. They didn’t have seats available but had an opening between slots (45 mins) and we took it, bless they offered that.Amazing food, we ordered Likkle Jamaican Patties, Jerk Chicken and Curry Goat. Wish I had photos but we dived in quick. Great portion sizes!Love the atmosphere. Vibing music, would come again when we’re in the downtown area (with reservations this time). I can see why it’s always booked up!
