My fav go to hot pot place. Took a Pakistani classmate today and discovered their beef/lamb is ✨halal✨! He loved everything. Their legendary spicy soup base is nicely fragrant and not too spicy (I get mild ?️?️, it's perfect). My favorites are the crispy fried pork slices, beef tongue, intestines, jumbo shrimp, and super wide/chewy sweet potato vermicelli. For dessert, can't go wrong with watermelon, golden fried bun, deep fried sweet sticky rice cake, and sweet sticky rice ball soup❣️
took my lil cousin for her first time, everyone loved it! the vegetable ingredients were very fresh n the servings generous!
Huge variety of broths, meats and vegetables.... Individual stoves for your own personal broth and good pricing. A definite recommend.
First time going to hotpot and I was not disappointed!! It was such an awesome experience! The marinated beef might be the best meat on the menu tbh. The staff was quiet but friendly and we're quick to make room taking empty plates away. I had the spicy broth I chose mild spicy but it was ? the broth had lots of flavour and added great seasoning to my food but next time I'll be trying something with 0 spice. 3rd round = dessert for me and the golden buns with condensed milk were amazing ? highly recommend this place I'll be going back but with even more people!
Such an amazing meal. Top quality food and service. Restaurant was very clean and organized. Not too many people for a Thursday lunch, maybe I should keep this place a secret so there is always a table available.Only complaint was the selection of music. Just not conducive to the atmosphere. But I could barely hear it over my out-loud “YUMMMM” for every dish. Highly recommended. Sorry for the messy pic. Lol
As a vegetarian, getting hotpot is always tricky business. But I'm happy to say the Chine has a great selection of broths they can make vegetarian and have a wide selection of tofu, vegetables and desserts. But the end of the two hour mark I was full and satisfied. The total was around $37/person, which is pricy, but the experience is well worth it. Would definitely come again! Also the Tom Yum soup base is delicious!
I keep coming back to Chine for authentic hotpot and it has never let me down! The options are endless for your hotpot experience, including having your own broth. They have a wide selection of meats, veggies, and seafood, and their sauce options are tasty, as well. Chine is perfect for cold Toronto winters, and is my favourite spot to bring family and friends who are visiting from out of town.
Great place to try hot pot if you have never tried it before. It was my first time and the flavors were great. There is a ton of different things to try which made for a fun experience. I thought it was a good overall value. Arrive hungry!
All you can eat hot pot! It's an experience, not just a meal. You'll be there for at least two hours.
Best ayce hotpot on spadina! You get individual hot pots, it’s relatively affordable and there’s a huge selection of foods you can order. The crispy taro rolls are the ultimate best dessert. They also have a sauce bar where you can get creative with your flavours. 10/10 would recommend.
