Got the Kyo-Matsu drink and it was about $7.6 which is already on the high end of bbt drinks. Pretty disappointing at that price as it tasted like water with a hint of matcha flavour. I'm a big matcha lover and I have to say that's nowhere near matcha standard.
Normally the tea is pretty good (altho I prefer the normal chatime shops) but today I got a brown sugar creme brûlée and the tapioca was so hard it wasn’t chewable ? not sure if the batch wasn’t cooked thoroughly, but I suspect it wasn’t. This is way suckier when we spend more for “fancy tea”
The girl with the nose piercing was so rude the whole time, and forgot to put pearl in my drink, then didn’t even wipe the cup, the cup was so sticky and I asked her to please wipe the cup and she just throw me some napkins. She looked so unhappy the whole time but she didn’t have to pass it to the customers. Hiire someone that has basic respect to customer!!
Not impressed with the customer service. I waited 10 minutes to be acknowledged. No eye contact until they got some of their orders out of the way and came to the cashier. Limited in drinks too. Don’t come near closing. Practically nothing left.
Seems like they are innovating on the spot because their bubble teas are nasty. The crème brulee milk tea tasted like straight syrup and the London fog latte had a small layer of cream and sugar and the rest of it was just water with a hint of tea. There's no way these drinks are being made right. Pretty disappointing considering this is in Toronto.
The tea is good but I was given two peanut butter cookies instead of the salted egg yolk cookies I paid for. The packaging is unmarked and I didn't realize this until I took them home and bit into one.This is very dangerous as many of my friends have severe peanut allergies.It's also hugely disappointing for me having spent almost $8 on them before taxes.
Worth the wait if there is a line. It’s just a tiny store so best to give distance for safety of staff and other patrons. I love the Matchango with added Honey Golden Pearls. Their Creme Brûlée specialty beverage is also 10/10.
Their drinks are absolutely awesome as always! The location was a bit hard to find but it’s alright bcos I love the drinks here so much ?
Chatime has great bubble tea, very sweet and flavourful! Hard to find though: It is under the escalator downstairs, in the PATH, under BMO
Can't order from the regular app/site, more expensive, taro drink was really grainy at the bottom, can't get points/deals. Not the best option for BBT in the area imo.
