Absolutely Delicious + very authentic feel (and taste!) After a long day of photo shoots (who knew they’d make you so hungry!) we stopped in here for an early dinner.Everything looked amazing and a huge bonus for most of the options available with corn tortillas.The service was amazing .. attentive, pleasant and overall a great experience. The ceviche was fresh (we had the mix of fish and shrimp), the guacamole was SO good and we were also as impressed with the quesadillas and tacos.We will definitely revisit this spot and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!!
Decided to visit Carmelita’s with a friend based on another friends suggestion and was not disappointed.We ordered the ceviche, fried yucca with tangy pickled onions, pupusas and a flank steak with salad.Everything was delicious but the stand outs of this place was the owner/server who was welcoming, charming and has a great singing voice and the drinks he makes so efficiently. Solid red wine sangria, really good tequila based drinks but the big hit for me was the pina colada! One sip of the pina and I could smell the beach and hear the ocean.
The staff was extremely friendly and they do try to give you an authentic mexican experience, which needs to be applauded. However, i felt certain lack of taste. Most of the food was very bland. We ordered papusas (bean n cheese and chicken), tamales (veggies) and tacos. The best was the fish n tounge tacos. Something was lacking in the food.
My boyfriend and I came here for lunch and their nachos were delicious I could not stop eating them! We got their chicken Burrito too but their nachos are a must try!
Brunch was awesome. Everything was good but wow that house made chorizo is next level. It has set the chorizo bar so high. Will probably have to get it every time I go.
This brunch is divine ! So fresh and they make the tortillas and hot sauce in house. Not greasy—everything tastes fresh and delicious
I think the food was good, and you can definitely taste the homemade feel. Service was friendly; however it was way too slow. We went there on a Friday lunch and only had 5 people, and it took us 3 hours to finally finish eating. I would not come here to dine in unless you have a whole afternoon to kill.
The food is amazing! Super fresh, authentic and great portions for the price. I love the atmosphere here and the family vibe. Best Mexican restaurant in the area hands down.

Popped in on a whim based on excellent reviews. Food did not disappoint. Papusas and tacos were delicious. We started with the nachos and they didn’t last more than 5 minutes. Service was a little slow as it got busy, but they totally made it up by giving our kids each a luchador wrestling doll! Highly recommend.
