Still the BEST veal sandwich EVER! Bar none. A gargantuan sandwich that could easily feed two ( although I generally manage to almost finish mine!)A glutton and gourmand's paradise....

This is the original location, I have been coming here since highschool. I always get the veal sandwich here, I like spicy so I get it hot. Over the years their hot has turned into mild. Still the best veal sandwich I ever tried anywhere else doesn't compare. Portion hasn't changed in years!! Always try and come to this location if I am in town! Nice area to dine in as well, lots of space and clean.
Spicy veal cut in half FOR LIFE. Some experts order sauce on side and dunk the hulking sandwich in the ripping hot sauce.Add on olives, salami + a brio, one of my all time favourite cheer up meals.Note that quality of the Claremont location significantly exceeds that of the other outposts. I rarely eat veal sandwiches... I tried one at this California Sandwiches and it was amazing. Much better than the one on Dufferin. 9/10 (only because perfection should be chased...but never attained)
A bit pricy now but if you’re up for about $15 for a meal it’s seriously a delicious sandwich. I grew up eating their sandwiches since I could remember. Spicy chicken with cheese and onions is a perfect combo. Lovely staff, quick and filling.Cash only! Be ready
One of the OG spots for parm sandwiches in the gta and the OG California Sandiwches location.Consistency is king here - you know what your getting and it's going to be delicious every time. Portions are always huge and excellent value.They keep their menu clean and simple, cutting out the frills and making ordering easy. Adding cheese and sweet peppers is a must!
Tasty veal sandwich - generous portion. Veal was cooked well - not chewy at all. Quick friendly service.This is the original location and compared to the locations in the west end, their sandwich is much better!
Veal - Chicken - Steak sandwiches (even veggie and eggplant). Not many places of this caliber still around and consistency’s usually close to 100% (this original location is markedly different from the others - bring cash ..and an appetite :0).And if ya don’t know, now ya know..
