It seemed authentic enough if you desire a polish style meal. Generous servings and the price quite right. Everything tasty. We sat on the patio which is refreshing when there is no heavy traffic. The indoor dining room seemed a bit boring though. Will definitely return.

The food was top-notch. Amazing pierogis and the sauerkraut was the best I’ve ever had. Very large portions. Service was slow but friendly. It was pleasantly filled with diners on a Sunday night. There are some nice tables street-side to sit in when the weather is nice. My husband ordered a beer and it was served in a huge glass. Just a tip - the kids hamburgers are pork hamburgers, not beef. We were very satisfied with this restaurant.

Excellent place for Polish cuisine. Food is delicious and comes out quickly. Portions are generous. Service is friendly, attentive, and helpful.
Pierogi almost as good as babcha’s. Bigos, best I’ve had anywhere. Considered by many the best polish restaurant in Toronto and often cracks peoples top 20 overall in the city. It’s a lot of food, and it looks like the “platter for one” is the local favourite.
I'm never in the Roncesvalles area until I started working at @podstarz_net and they recommended if I'm in the west end I should try Cafe Polonez. Fun neighborhood, The food was stunning, some of the best perogies I've ever had and a huge selection of cabbage rolls, tried 2 and they were both amazing and came with great sides. Coming back, I gotta thank @Podstarzteam for the heads up, and cafe polonez!!! Amazing experience
One of the few places that do Polish food and Cafe Polonez does it very well. Huge portions for the price and it's all great tasting. Highly recommended!
I've been here a few times for dinner and each and every time it is a great experience. The staff are friendly and fast while the food is excellent, you can really taste the quality. I've had the duck which is succulent and definitely worth a try. The schnitzel's are perfectly breaded, with the perfect ratio of meat to breading. My first and only time eating fresh pierogies is here and wow, they are amazing, definitely worth getting for yourself or the table.
Authentically POLISH. Outstanding food all made in-house. Legendary institution on Roncesvalles, go with an appetite. So many classic European dishes (delicious schnitzel, cabbage rolls, Borscht, and pierogi,etc) to explore and enjoy. SERVICE is always exceptional, polite and courteous. Great for groups, dates, or solo. No Reservations usually. Consistently great after decades and thousands served. Way to GO!!
