Had high expectations based on the good reviews but we're very disappointed by the food and mediocre service. The soon tofu was very watery and did not have much flavour. Had the combination soon tofu dish, though it came with a lot of rice, there was one single shrimp, one mussel and little pieces of beef that smelled strong. Overall not a good experience compared to other places in Koreatown.
Came here for dinner with friends and really enjoyed the food. The restaurant is normally busy. The service is quick, efficient. The food is very tasty and delicious. Need to be careful as the food comes hot and can be bit spicy based on level requested. They do have a few options for vegetarians. Would happily visit again.
We used to go here a lot pre-pandemic and lately we’ve been getting take out. Our favourites are the tofu+kimchi combo and the bulgogi beef.Great comfort food when you want a bowl of hearty soup with a kick!
Came here to dine in and the place was full, people definitely love this place. I got the combination Soon Tofu, with the highest spice level. It came with rice and In a boiling hot pot. The soup was so amazing and spicy and the tofu was so soft. I’d really recommend this for anyone looking for comfort food. The staff was also very kind.

This place does not take reservation when called, buy we didn't need to wait when we reached.We ordered tofu soups along with fried dumplings. Food was okay. Not too good or too bad. Food was great and tasty, the place was almost empty on a Friday night, which was perfect for us with three kids. Prices are really affordable.
I come here with my husband frequently; the food is top tier, customer service is exceptional, and the food service is SO FAST! Got there at 2:40pm today with what we wanted in mind already, our orders got placed the minute we sat; food came 10 mins later!There’s this female waitress who’s name I don’t know that works there most times we’ve gone, and her customer service is amazing! She’s so nice and you can tell she’s a good delegator to her waiting team.The food is good quality and fresh; I got the bibimbap and my husband got the bulgogi with rice; side dishes like kimchi, sweet beans, and mungbeans to compliment your dish makes the combinations endless with dishes!I highly recommend coming to this place; not that expensive, good portions, great service in both food and customers, and even lovelier at night time in Korea Town!Thanks Buk Chang Dong Soon Tofu!!!
Famously the best Sundubu jjigae in downtown TO. You can’t go wrong with any of their soups. And their service is very friendly compared to other Korean restaurants. 5/5!
Very tasty soon tofu, definitely recommend it. They also serve hot tea and Korean side dishes for free, they complement the tofu so well. Overall experience is great.
We were in the area and looking for some Korean food. This place is good for a quick sit down and go. It was a bit cold, I think the heat setting was on low. Other than that the food was amazing! We enjoyed dumplings, tofu and kimchi versions of soon tofu. Nice filling meal and good value ??
