This was my first time trying Haitian food and it was so good! The Akra was my favorite (with that magical green sauce on the side). Amazing service too - such warm and welcoming people happy to share their food and culture ? thank you!

A wonderful, authentic Haitian dining experience. Food was delicious, plentiful and creative. Very pleased to find a spot where I can depend on for high food quality at a reasonable cost.
Delicious! The food, vibe and people were great. I ordered the pork fritay and was extremely pleased with it. The sauce, fries, plantain, and meat were on point!
I accidentally found out about this place while looking for a place to eat in the neighborhood and glad that I did! This is my first time tasting Haitian cuisine and I thoroughly enjoyed it! I tried the Vegan plate which had banana fritters, dumplings, the fried quinoa balls along with a slaw and sauces and they were flavorful, fresh, crispy and was such a comfort eating them. The beignet dessert was equally good with the mango sauce.Above all what was even more impressive was the warmth and hospitality displayed by the owners (who were present when we visited) and the hosts who serviced us. They were incredibly friendly, took great care in helping us choose the items that we would prefer and made us feel like home! Thank you for it!If I have to provide one feedback, again just a minor minor one, is to include some vegetables in the platter which would complete the meal. Since everything else is pretty starchy and meaty, it would be a nice balance to have some vegetables with it, Haitian style, to balance it all out. But again that's just a minor thought that came to me!Nevertheless go ahead, and experience this great food, warmth and kindness by these fabulous folks!
Pork fritay: pork quite tasty; fried, moist, tender enough. Coleslaw spicy; refreshing: tart & crisp. Flat fried plantain ok; long better: crispier, tastier. Gravy pretty tasty. Fried dumplings decent
The macaroni pie was pretty good, but it was a pricy addon ($8.19 - not on the menu).
Banana beignets with mango sauce: sauce good & the beignets decent; they were moister than the average beignet (maybe Haitian style or because banana). Dusted with cinnamon sugar & a little crispy.
