My mom and I spend our weekends cafe hopping and I’m so glad this place was on our list. A lovely space, great service, and unique food made for a nice afternoon out! There was limited seating when we went, but with covid rules changing all the time I would just watch for popular hours to make sure you get a seat! Can’t wait to come back!
The sweetest couple running this business. It was a busy Saturday but well worth the wait. The owner was so sweet and kind and took her time with each and every customer. We’ve been wanting to come to this patisserie for months and months and it was well worth the wait. We ordered the tiramisu, almond and almond with chocolate filling croissants. I will never look at a croissant the same ever again. Lol. This was just the queen of all croissants. I have never had such a crunchy, buttery and perfectly balanced Pastry in my life. Well done!! I also ordered a coffee and even that was perfectly balanced. What a pleasure!! Can’t wait to try the black sesame and yuzu ones next. Those seem to be most popular as they were gone already! I suggest going early to get the full picks! :)
I saw this spot on BlogTO, had to try and support Korean businesses. Bonne Nouvelle is definitely a different experience. Never would I have thought of a Patisserie run by Koreans. My wife and I tried a couple of hot beverages with some of the remaining pastries and it was just amazing. We have to come back when everything is fresh! We have already started telling people to go and try. The interior is also quite nice. I am not really into those kinds of flourishes but my wife enjoyed, and it has the classy French vibe.
Really top notch pastries! Do not sleep on their yuzu croissant filled with yuzu cream. Their mille-feuille, dare I say is the best in Toronto. Their pastry flavors are seasonal so get it while you can.
I've been here a few times now and the quality of the pastries is consistently stunning. Super flakey croissants, very good chocolate, perfect flavor combinations and beautiful presentation. We were told everything is made fresh daily at the location. What a gem!
Really beautiful space. Their wonderful pastries are displayed like art. The owner took her time and explained some of the baked good that I was unfamiliar with. Everything we bought was delicious.
Thank you Bonnie Nouvelle team for making our Retirement Home Team party the best one we ever had. My team very in awww and completely floured by the gesture of having gourmet deserts at our annual party. The freshness and taste was par none. I personally had an immersive experience. LOVE LOVE LOVE Bonne Novelle! Everything is always great quality and truly delicious. Even my husband was impressed, (and as a chef, he's hard to impress). I think I can say I've tried 70% of their cake menu since opening along with their other desserts and every time it's truly an experience. I always buy from here for all my friends, visitors, and clients. THANK YOU!
My goodness this special place makes the most delicious croissant and Americano. My croissant was filed with Rose Lychee and Raspberry. Phenomenal combination! If I lived in Toronto, I would go all of the time since they have a great variety of croissants and small cakes. This is must try place for special treats.
