Not only the most authentic Portuguese egg tart since Portugal, but the staff are FABULOUS! Lattes are divine, the sweets case is unbelievably tempting, and one of my favourite finds while visiting Toronto!! And had to go back on my last day to have a phenomenal empanada to tide me over for the ride to the airport. Their pastry is unbelievably flaky and delicious!
I come here once a week with two fine young gentlemen (the kids I babysit) and it’s amazing. The staff is the sweetest, the desserts are delicious, and the environment is always clean and welcoming and warm. “If you want a quick snack or a nice lunch, then this is the place. Trust me you need to come here!” - quote from the 9 year old.Great stuff!
Lovely place. They sell a variety of items pastries, coffee, cupcakes, sandwiches, donuts and lunch items. If you are looking for a good variety of things this place is a great spot. The store front is small but don’t be fooled because there’s also ample seating. The traditional Portuguese items are the best.

Brilliant place, friendly stuff, great coffee and an amazing selection of pastries. The place is vibrant, nicely decorated, great music and the feeling of being in Europe is BEAUTIFUL
Absolutely delicious food! The best cupcake I have ever had in my life, makes my mouth water just thinking about it! Everything I’ve had here has been perfect, and the staff is incredibly sweet. We chatted with JP one afternoon, he was generous & kind, and even gave our dog JJ a treat ❤️ 100% recommend you visit, be warned though you will want to eat one of everything!
I just popped into this bakery as I heard from a friend that they have the best Portuguese tarts in Toronto. I can confirm 100% that this is true!!What she did not tell me is that they also have the most amazing staff I have ever met. Jean Pedro could not have been nicer, friendlier or more helpful. He even insisted on cooking a fresh batch of tarts in front of me as I arrived near closing time and he wanted me to have the freshest produce.
Amazing cafe with so many baked goodies, especially Portugese treats! The people are there are amazing and friendly. We keep going back and will continue to.
Bom Dia Cafe & Bakery is a beautiful place with and extraordinary selection of pastries and baked goods. There was so much to choose from i could not decide, it took me forever, but the staff were kind and patient. I bought a white chocolate and coconut cupcake as well as an apple turnover. What I loved about them is that although they were sweets they were not too sweet. I find some desserts are too sweet, especially cupcakes I have eaten in the past with their mountainous frosting on top. The frosting on the cupcake I bought at Bom Dia Cafe & Bakery was very good. I would definitely love to return in the future!
