Stopped by with a large group and got more than a dozen birria tacos with consomme and a bunch of churros. Loved the tacos- the meat is nice and tender and the corn tortillas are crisp. The churros are also phenomenal, my favorite were the chocolate filled ones. We placed a really large order so it took about 30 minutes but it was definitely worth it.
These are hands down my favorite birria tacos in Toronto. If anyone is wanting to try authentic Mexican street tacos, these ones are definitely it. They are so good tasting, they never disappoint. They’re served with a small birria broth on the side and a couple of salsas. The servings are big enough and they’re not as greasy as one would expect so they is great. The owners are super nice and friendly, they attend the order fast enough if you call or text 20 minutes ahead of picking the order up.
The BEST birria tacos. Really great value, super filling, got the 5 taco combo and I’m stuffed after 3. Meat is super tender and juicy. Could use a little bit more consommé but still great. Comes with some delicious hot sauce as well!
This was my first time trying tacos dipped in consomé and I really enjoyed it! The birria (beef stew) was tender, served in a double crispy tortilla and STUFFED with generous amounts of onions and cilantro. Dipping the taco in the consomé gave the beef an extra level of juciness??As much as I love a good quesadilla, the cheese got the taco pretty heavy (I barely finished 2/5 tacos). I would suggest getting Combo 2 instead-- you get 5 tacos (so no cheese) and it's cheaper too!FYI this is not the most car-friendly meal so be prepared ?
Birria Tacos were delicious - I liked the hot sauce and consomme which were included. $4 a piece which seemed reasonable.
The Birria tacos were pretty good, meaty and juicy. It lacked a bit of flavour for my taste but still pretty satisfying. The spicy sauce and the consommé were delicious and we would definitely be back for more.

There's actually a few places in Kensington Market downtown Toronto you can get Tacos, but as far as I know this is the only one with Birria Tacos! For those unaware, Birria Tacos are sweet, sour, spicy and savory Mexican beef stew Tacos that are slow cooked and deeped back into the stew! They also have a bunch of other dishes like the "Pizza-Dilla" - basically a giant quesadilla stuffed with Birria meat! The only reason its not 5/5 is because the dual layer taco shells can be a bit soggy if not eaten right away.
This Mexican stand is a true hidden gem in Kensington market! Tucked inside the far back of shared food hall, you really should really add this on your places to go. They specialize in birria tacos and you can really taste it!You can order one as a snack or many for a meal. Be sure to get the consomme to dip it into. It really makes a difference and there's really no way to eat this without getting sauce all over your hand. For a small taco, it's really packed with flavour. Every bite is filled with tender, succulent meat with the freshness of the onions and coriander that helps cut the fat. If you have extra consomme left, don't be shy to drink it.Service was quick and easy. I'll be back to try the other items.
Really nice spot in Kensington to have mouth watering birria. I tried the birria taco and the gringa taco—both great (one no cheese one cheese). The meat is so tender and packed with flavor. The portion is a pretty decent size as they pack on the meat. Would definitely come back again, as this was my first time trying birria.
