We ordered Nashville Chicken Strips, Fries and Miso Vinaigrette coleslaw on Google(technically it was through Ritual). We only waited about 15 minutes.On the menu description, nothing mentioned about how spicy Nashville Chicken was so we just thought it would be mild spicy but it wasn’t. Chicken was so juicy and tender but it was crazy spicy like it actually hurt my stomach instantly. I wish description mentioned this is actually spicy.Miso Vinaigrette Coleslaw was fantastic though. It had more vinegar/tangy flavour and Miso but not overwhelming which I really enjoyed. It was very refreshing and flavourful. It definitely saved me from Nashville Chicken.Definitely will come back for a regular fried chicken, not spicy one…
Delicious sandwich.. too bad we couldn't eat indoor... but even taking it home it was good..The poutine was tasty too..
I'm a HUGE advocate for this place. I've been telling them to get a store front location since they were a food truck that occasionally parked outside my office.The best days in the office would be when they'd show up outside and I'd take orders from 10-15 people from the immediate area and we'd all enjoy these amazing chicken fingers.I'm somewhat of a chicken finger connoisseur, and they have (no contest) the best chicken fingers I've ever had.Love this place, love the people. My only beef is that this is on the opposite end of Toronto so I can't have it all the time.Super happy you guys finally got a store!!!
The chicken here tasted great. I had an OG Chicken Sandwich and it was tender without being greasy. The sauce was great. Only dinging 1 star because I wish it came with a bigger bun or if they cut up the chicken and stacked it instead (the chicken is significantly bigger and when combined with the sauce, it's a sloppy mess to eat after a couple bites) and I wish there was better side options. If your in the area and looking for great food, I recommend this place.
Ordered the Nashville spicy fried chicken burger, coleslaw and fries. It was good fried chicken, not as juicy as I expected. Despite that, it was still nice and crunchy. Beware of the spicy level of this fried chicken. Both I and my partner can handle spice, but my partner had a flaming butt the next day ... might be tmi.. just be aware. Worth a try.
The “OG” chicken burger was by the far the best burger I had in a long time. The staff members were very polite and courteous (biker) and made my food fresh . I was starving after a 50km bicycle ride and this meal did the trick. The burger was not greasy, not salty, the taste was amazing!!! Thank you again, I plan to come back soon !!!!!!
BEST FRIED CHICKEN I'VE EVER HAD.My family eats a lot of fried chicken, and Birdies is our number one pick! Their Nashville Hot chicken sandwich/strips have the perfect amount of kick that I've been looking for. The OG is just as great!Don't even get me started on the Truck Sauce. If I could, I'd buy a whole bucket of that sauce.Birdies is THE place for the best fried chicken in Canada. The owners are also super friendly!I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THAT PLACE AND THE PEOPLE THERE!

I don't get it. This was decent, ok, but $10 for a single piece of chicken?? When down the road you can get THREE pieces of equally as good (in my mind better) fried chicken with fries for the same price! More chicken to N'Joy methinks...
IT'S WORTH IT!!!My eyes are bigger than my stomach, for sure!I just placed my first order at Birdies, but I was skeptical because the delectable buttermilk chicken pieces and OG original sandwich weren't as big as the other photos. I was so wrong because I am so stuffed!The flavour of the sandwich and chicken pieces, Yum, not salty and or greasy!Just the right amount of seasoning, and I experienced a taste of the crispiness from that first crunch to my last bite, including the French fries!The gravy, Oh my... And that sauce... Delicious!Birdies satisfied my craving so much that this is my new joint!Thank you! I will definitely be back!P.S. I am so stuffed!!!
