We were able to get in when everything on Front St was closed or full before a concert. Food was fast and great, service was excellent. Drink list was huge. Definitely would go back.
Had a great time here! There's an amazing beer selection available and their food was made very well. I enjoyed the nachos and fish tacos, as well as their flatbread. I think they could have been more creative with the incorporation of the avocado but overall really enjoyed the food. The cherry on top was the great service so I definitely would come back again and recommend checking this place out.
Fun night out with friends! Lots of drinking and delicious fried chicken. Our group of 4 went to Beertown on a Saturday night after going to the Food and Drink Fest. It was around 10pm and the place was almost at capacity. It had a fun vibe and all the beers on tap was definitely an eye catcher once you walk in. Since we were drinking for several hours before coming here, we settled in for the food. Since the place is called Beertown, expect a wide variety of beers on tap. There is a blackboard with all the dets and you can always ask the bartender for a sample.We ordered fish and chips, 2 orders of Southern Fried Chicken and the Beer'Ville Hot Chicken. The fish was super crispy and the chicken was *chef's kiss*. I don't have high expectations when eating out at bars and pubs, but man, this place was amazing! The portion size was substantial (3 pieces of thighs/chicken breast) and the fries were crunchy. I substituted my fries for parm fries and my sis got the yam fries. The coleslaw was nothing special, I didn't even eat all of it. For $22.99, you get your money's worth! There are several Beertown locations, so look it one, and most likely there will be one near you. You've gotta try their buttermilk fried chicken!

Beertown is a hidden gem on the King St. area! We went for beer, cocktails, and dinner to celebrate a birthday and this experience highly surpassed our expectations.Starting with the prices… just wow! Their meals, cocktails, and food are SO properly priced! You can’t get a better price in the city for good quality cocktails, beer, and delicious food.We got two paddles of beer, two cocktails, wonton nachos, truffle fries, and guac and chips, and everything was so good!You can also tell that they care about health and safety which is SO hard to find nowadays. We saw people cleaning and sanitizing the chairs, the tables, most high contact points. Most of the staff wearing masks is nice to see as well! Definitely made us feel so comfortableShoutout to Stephen, our server, for his amazing energy and vibes! Made our night much more enjoyable!Definitely recommend this place for a good and safe time! Can’t wait to be back.
The staff and service was great. It's a nice large bar with craft beers. We were told we had to try the wonton nachos so we did, but we didn't like them at all. The manager came by and talked to us about it and offered to take them off the bill which was appreciated.
Pretty good overall. Great selection of rotating taps. Pretzels are good. Nachos are ok, good cheese/melt ratio (salsa little weird). Vibes after a raps or leafs game are mint. Would come back. Did I mention there’s lots of beer!
We came to beertown on a Saturday night and had a great time! Service was good as well considering how busy they were.My partner ordered the sweet and wheat paddle and we shared the wonton nachos and the cheesecake.Being HUGE fans of the Waterloo location, we had pretty high expectation and they were definitely met! The wonton nachos were really good. The only issue is that the wasabi taste in the sauce was a little too strong for our liking (to the point where our noses were burning). Other than that, they were super tasty.We also loved the raspberry white chocolate cheesecake! It definitely satisfied my craving.We would recommend this place for sure.

Great place to have a beer and food especially during a raptors or leafs game! We were so pleased with the experience and food. The servers so kind and offering us suggestions. We got the warm pretzel and spinach artichoke dishes to start. For the mains - BBQ brisket burger and grilled baja chicken sandwich. All were excellent and we will be coming back for the warm pretzels. Drinks - a flight of beers which all tastes amazing.
