I was so disappointed with the service. We ended up sitting outside on the patio and 4-5 other tables came and were seated after us, yet they were all served before us. It took a really long time for anyone to even acknowledge us or take out drink order. The system for serving outdoor customers is a mess and there’s no order to it so even if you’ve been seated for a while the servers seem to approach the tables in whatever order they decide.
Super friendly and attentive staff! This alone for me makes a great experience.The food selection is pretty good and the ceviche and calamari were quite nice. The calamari had a nice sauce. The sangria was actually really good. Had some nice orange and lime flavour which I much prefer to the less citrus styles. The beers were nice and who can go wrong with a flight on a little mini surf board!Nice queen street patio and open inside.

I remember spotting them as one of the vendors at Ashbridge when I went down to watch fireworks a couple of years back. That time when I asked where the brewery was, they said they did not have a brewery yet.Now they have a very cool looking pub/brewery in the middle of The Beaches area.Went in to pick up a couple of beers to go. Tasted good, resonably priced. It was a very quick and easy in and out.Next time I would love to try their food after reading all the good reviews.
Tried to eat in at this place but was not acknowledged in the line by any of the servers . It wasn’t clear if there was a hostess or not so after waiting we sat ourselves inside. They couldn’t acknowledge us in line but were pretty quick to tell us to get out of the booth and let us know there was a line .. we knew there was a line, we were standing in it but no one bothered to say anything to us. When we went back outside to speak to the server or hostess whatever she was, she again did not acknowledge us and helped the people that were standing in line behind us . This place looked like it would have been good but the staff need some training in customer service.
I was going to leave a detailed review on my experience in this place but the conclusion is that the customer service here was horrible, and after reading the reviews and seeing how the owner responds to bad reviews it is obvious that the staff do not have the proper support or training. The owner is petty and childish with no customer service. This is surprising because he is in the service industry. I guess this guy doesn't know what he is good at.
Great menu options to accompany fresh rotations on the taps. Beaches Brewing is a wonderful addition to Queen East, and should be on your itinerary if you're visiting the Beaches. Carl (owner) and his entire team are friendly and care deeply about the community. Good vibes found here.
I absolutely love this bar! We have visited a few times and every time the staff is so friendly and super attentive - our drinks never hit the bottom! The decor and atmosphere is great. It goes without saying the beer is delicious. We did a flight on our last visit to sample the various options. It's so refreshing to have a truly local bar in the neighbourhood. Highly recommend!
Very bad experience,I was very disappointed and angry , the owner was very rude .He is not respect the the people I will tell all my friends to not visit this restaurant
They recently changed their menu and it's way better! Beers are always on point whatever you order. Pizza is pretty good, and their chicken sandwich is a home run. Fries are so delicious we had to order a 2nd order. Their kitchen closes at 9pmish? So get your food orders in before then. They do take reservations by phone only. I ordered their pineapple burger first time I came and wasn't a fan, but maybe it's gotten better. Lots of beer to takeout as well. I think Fridays they also have all drink specials!
