OK, the food is fine. Pretty tasty actually. And the staff are very polite and friendly. The premises are clean, and the washroom is tidy. But the food preparation phase of it reminds me of Fawlty Towers. Remember Basil Fawlty? How appropriate. Seriously, the person preparing my order continually had to consult the list of ingredients. I also saw them missing something from another customer's order, and then asked the person to bring the food back to the counter. And while one person took the food to add the missing ingredient, another person was giving the customer the same missing ingredient in a separate container. Quite funny from a distance, but probably on the receiving end. And wow, it sure took them a while to get me my order. Why am I giving them 4 stars? OK, they are not great in efficiency, but as I said, the food is good, service is friendly, and price is very reasonable. Besides you get a comedy show as well.

Plentiful vegetarian and vegan options here! I had the vegan curry with noodles, which was just the right level of spicy and bursting with flavor. The staff were also very good - attentive to packing food safely for take out. Also, Ryerson students get a discount here, so bring your Onecard.
This is an Asian wok fry concept. Had rice noodles with lemongrass corn, lemongrass chicken, tamarind sauce & carrots. It was pretty tasty.
This Basil Box has really caring staff and great attention to your food preparation. I appreciate that it offers a few more than the Eaton Centre food court's Basil Box. Worth coming over to this location instead!The staff are very accommodating and gives great recommendations. They served another customer that has a dietary concern and flagged any available options they could eat. They also offered customizing to their preference and suggested great alternatives. Good healthy choices!They have a lot of good custom order option/set up so that you can mix and match. This location offers additional Satay Seasoned Fried Egg (for additional cost) and #4 Sauce option of Saigon Curry which is not common. I usually get the Chili Lime Shrimp which is pretty spicy and delicious! This location offers sautéed eggplant and charred sweet potatoes which is great as well. Really good value and carries well!
I would give this place a 4.5 star if I could. It's almost perfect! We ordered via ritual and got 50% of our item which was great. Otherwise the portion size is way too small for the full price. We thoroughly enjoyed the lemongrass chicken box and the hot chili that you can get for free as an add-on is one of the best we've eaten. Pretty hot I must caution. Other than that, you can taste and smell the yummy flavor of lemongrass which is oh so delightful. We will be on the lookout again for a half off coupon to get some great food from this location. Also the service is very nice. The ladies behind the counter are very courteous and let us add the extra hot hot chili sauce!
Great choice of vegetarian friendly options. My vegan curry tofu soup was amazing. And the ladie who prepare it was so friendly and helpful. Great place
The lemongrass chicken was delicious paired with the brown rice, siracha sauce and edemame. Staff were also very nice
It's a great place to get lunch. It's a little pricey but that's par for the course when buying food downtown. They have Pad Thai and the like but I suggest building your own "box". It's delicious. My go to is the jasmine rice with extra steak, sauteed peppers, peas and water chestnuts, with sweet chilli sauce and topped with cilantro and chopped chillies. I would also suggest the pomegranate lime-aid soda. I would have shared a picture but I ate it already. Next time!
Loved it!!! I had a bowl with rice noodles, coconut curry tofu, and peanut sauce. Super filling, flavourful, fresh, and a perfect balance of ingredients.They also have unique drinks that are a great deal when you buy a bowl. The mango ginger ale had great ginger flavour.Also very friendly service and great mask wearing by staff during COVID-19.Will definitely be back!
