We were celebrating our birthdays. We love Barnsteiners. It’s my go to place. The food is great, some of the waiters charming. It’s expensive but it’s worth it. The only thing is that when it’s busy, the noise level makes it hard to hear each other
Wonderful as always….. only issue was less than cold white wine. When it was opened and reported as “warm”, I would have preferred being offered another bottle at the right temperature. The server delayed bringing the wine at the outset because it needed to be “chilled”. Yet it still arrived warm.
The acoustics in the room we were in at the back of the restaurant was horrible. Also expensive for what you get. I'll never go back and do not recommend
Me and my wife had our Anniversary Diner of 27 years. we have be going to Barnsteiners for years and the food is consistent and I can always find something on the menu to eat Herbert and Michelle will take care of you
The Wiener Schnitzel was soo delicious! I highly recommend it. My only complaint was the service. There moments were our table was without any water. The restaurant was very packed and that oversight is understandable. Also, my friend and informed the server about her peanut allergy and was assured that there wasn’t any peanuts in the dish. However, she started to develop a reaction, so there must have been some cross-contamination.
Mom and daughter lunch was very pleasant
We had made a reservation but the hostess wanted to seat us at a table cramped in a corner by the kitchen but when we objected she seated us at a nice table by the window. Our waiter never returned to enquire if everything was ok or if we needed anything until it was time to see if we wanted dessert.
Always exceptional but they've got to improve their draught beer offering eg. most popular craft, not fringe, and not European industrial
The food was very very salty Waiter was some what u attentive Had to repeat the orders a few times to him Our guests we not pleased
We were outside so of course it was noisy. It was a bit difficult to signal to the wait staff because we were outside.
