Very plain and overpriced tacos. Not sure why there are so many reviews saying these are really good when they have no flavour. They were served to us 2 minutes after we ordered.

Started with the mixed dips. Guacamole tasted like it was mixed with mayonaise. Not a fan! Tried the Barbacoa taco. Very boring tasting. Basically a pile of meat in a taco shell. Not a lot of flavour. Hope your experience is better than mine. Definitely won't be back!

When in to grab a beer before meeting up with a friend. Owner said you can’t just have a beer you must order food. When I questioned his policy and said that was unreasonable, he said it was unreasonable to just have a beer. Then he proceeded to question how I was dressed, I had a hoody and sneakers on after going for a walk at High Park, not sure why this mattered. Questioned my tatoo on the back of my calf and then his wife came out calling me a loser. I spoke to them in Spanish asking why they were being so ignorant. When you come to this cafe I hope you think twice. When I proceeded next door, one lady said a couple years ago when she was pregnant and asked to use the bathroom the owner refuse to let her use it. Clearly he’s miserable and does not serve anyones business.

I am not sure if I should rate this place higher, because they have a wide variety of tacos and Mexican dishes, however I ate here with my family and although the food tasted OK (not amazing, but OK), we all had stomach aches afterwards. This kind of stomach ache usually happens when the meat or other protein ingredients are not fresh, but stale. Prices are decent, and it is right next to High park, so it is convenient after a walk, but I am not completely sure about the freshness of the ingredients. Also, they apparently don't serve only drinks, but one must order food as well. I guess that is their prerogative, but this kind of business model is very rare in Toronto.

Awesome sit down place. Unbelievable food and very quick to order. Recommended.

The food is not good. We ordered the tinga taco and the mole taco. The mole is very sweet, like Nutella with chicken. Tinga taco is okay, but very watery. They were soft taco so very soon the whole taco disintegrated. We express our comment towards the server, and she pretty much give us a look and said too bad. No action has been taken. Do not recommend.

The server was friendly and the food was tasty and flavorful. I enjoyed my meal. The decor was dark and needs improvement (lots of security cameras and unfriendly signs at the entrance), although good people watching on Bloor if you grab a window spot.

Been coming here just for a bit now and I gotta say some of the most authentic tasting tacos ive had so far. Good pricing and very very friendly staff I will definitely keep coming back! (I recommend the fish tacos!)

Picked up takeout and was thoroughly impressed. Ready in 15 mins at 7pm on a Friday night. Two orders of tacos were delicious and the guacomole was incredible. Amazing prices. Will be coming back very soon!

If you are looking for expensive. poor quality, sloppy tacos, this is the place for you.$18 gets you 4 luke warm stewed meat offerings totally lacking in Mexican flavor and one tiny portion of Pico de Gallo to split between them. No garnish was provided in the form of lettuce crema, hot sauce, or salsa which one would expect in any budget establishment. The venue totally lacking in ambiance matched the bland flavorless food served. So glad we only shared a plate as a food sample. On the plus side the food came out quickly, probably due to the pre-prepaired fillings, which allowed us to eat, exit and end a very poor culinary experience rapidly.
