It was in 2014 that I fell in love with loukoumades (honey balls) made by Athens. Definitely one of my favourite desserts of all time. They're unique in that they're more than just deep fried mini donut-like pastries with whatever toppings. They're crispy on the outside, soft and light inside, and most importantly oozing honey everywhere. Probably my worst guilty pleasure. Highly recommend.

The cheese pie and Lokomadis are great. It's in the Greek quarter. The environment is nice, the seller is kind, the customers are satisfied. I'll come again.I will not forget the boreks we ate and the coffees we drank here. I would like to stop by every time I come to Toronto. Tables and floors are really clean. The plates and cutlery used are also very clean. Seller did all his works. with gloves. I am very satisfied

Have been going here for over 2 decades. Nothing had changed; mouth watering tiropita, spanakopita, and any Greek pastry your heart desires. Great selection of coffee and other beverages and excellent service.

When I moved here my boyfriend said we have to go to Athens and get the honey balls. I said what the heck are you talking about? Do you mean like a honey crueller from Tim Hortons? And he was like no this is completely different don’t ever compare the two. And I’m glad we got them because there is no comparison. These honey balls made me shed at least three tears. When you get home put them in the fridge and then eat them cold for a little treat as well. They definitely won’t last more than a few days because you will be so ravenous at 2 AM for these little juleps.

Went to see my Greek friend at his office, brought loukis and spanakopita for all- the office is nowhere near the Danforth so it was a huge treat and much appreciated by all

I’m half Greek so know my filo! Athens spanakopita (spinach pie), tiropita (cheese pie), and bougatsa (custard pie) are up there with anything you get in Greece, and top 2 or 3 in Toronto. Also, the staff are very hard working, friendly, and everything is baked in-house. Highly recommended.

This place is a vegetarian's dream spot! The only thing I eat here, now, are the loukomades because I do not eat eggs, dairy or meat. But, when I was an omnivore I would order the Spanakopita and the Bougatsa, my mouth still salivates at the thought of how good they both tasted. Although, I am not the biggest fan of their loukomades, the Spanakopita and Bougatsa cannot be beat. Both the pitas are perfectly crispy and flaky and not oily, which is very important for a good pita. The Spanakopita is filled with a creamy spinach and feta filling. The spinach is cooked out enough where it doesn't taste raw and is filled with the perfect amount of feta, it's delicious! My favorite pita, though, is the Bougatsa...oh my, my, myyyyyy...it's a custard filled pita that is just beautiful. The custard is sweet, but, not too sweet, not eggy at all with a hint of vanilla and citrus. The crispy pita is then dusted with icing sugar and cinnamon and is ready to be devoured. It's big enough to share, but, why would you?!? I don't! They, also, have Tiropita which is cheese pie and Kreatopita which is meat pie. The, Tiropita, is good, not too salty not overly cheesy, but, I prefer the Spanakopita. I have not had the Kreatopita. I think it is the best place to get pita on the Danforth.

Nice little store on the Danforth for a quick snack or coffee. Unfortunately it seems their pies are getting smaller with less filling and the prices are going up. Hopefully it was just a one time thing and they get their pies back on track.

I sat here for an hour this morning and was shocked at everything I witnessed from an employee (possibly manager/owner) with black hair. She yelled at a sweet customer (older lady) regarding buying a few pieces of spanakopita. She called her selfish, told her that even if her daughter comes she can’t buy more, and then was bad mouthing her once she left. Look, I understand there may be purchase limits but the way this woman handled speaking to this sweet customer was COMPLETELY unnecessary and rude. The customer didn’t raise her voice once and you can tell she was in shock. It made me extremely uncomfortable to sit through. I noticed this employee had a short temper when I was about to place my order. Told her to give me some time to think of what I want to order and she gave me attitude for telling her that. She also made a rude comment after 2 men left after sitting there for an hour. She seems to constantly talk behind customers backs when they leave/has a problem with everyone. I definitely won’t be returning.

Delicious and fresh , good coffee too. Nice location, you can eat there or take to go. My fav were the lukomades.
