Korean BBQAll you can eatLunch prices are worth it.Dinner price is ok. Recommend to go when you are really hungry.Space for plates to BBQ area is perfect for multiple dishes. They come and replace the grill when you request/when they notice it is very charred. The plumbing and HVAC for the BBQ is a little inconvenient for leg space bellow the table. Also, watch out for your knees if you have long legs as the surface can be hot in certain spots.

Service is very good. The food is delicious. I don't have much to add except that the staff is very attentive and their garlic chicken with udon noodles is very yummy. Portions are generous.

Got the Korean Bento with chicken. Everything was tasty if basic. Example being the dumpling sauce was basically crushed oranges and nothing else. I was amused to note they have very high quality chicken... but it was dry as if it has been sitting out exposed all day. Otherwise everything was decent, noodles well cooked and such but considering it's in the middle of Korea town one can do alot better.Looks pretty and decent prices but I'd go elsewhere if I was doing sit down Korean BBQ.

Lived in the condo 5 mins walk from this restaurant. I took 2 friends there for first time last night. We had Korean BBQ. First, the menu specified a min of 2 orders, never saw that before. We felt we were being rushed out cuz the servers kept picking up our dishes without asking, one actually just turned off our grill without even checking that we still have raw beef on our platter. Last thing that made me never came back to this place was the final bill. While I know this meal was going to be pricey and not even feeling full, they actually imposed 15% gratuity. With the kind of service, in my mind I didn't want to give 15% tips but had no [email protected]#$%. I wouldn't recommend this place. There are few other Korean bbq few mins walk away.

We had a really nice meal here.I really liked the flavors of the marinated meat cuts.I wished that the non-marinated meat would have more dipping options. The veggies may have been ornamental, but we grilled em, and ate them. Would have liked some formnof marinade or dip for them too.Friendly and fast service. Not accessible; lots of steps

I actually really like the food here (although it's a bit expensive for what it is, and considering the quality/price of what you can get in many surrounding restaurants), and the atmosphere is nice due to the privacy of the booth arrangements. But the staff often give off a "Hurry up!" vibe that I just don't like. Last time I was in, it was for a friend's birthday and the three of us ordered meals, drinks, tea, an appetizer, etc. It was a decent amount of money we were going to be spending. The second our food was finished, the waitress arrived to ask if we were "ready for the bill." Like... I was still CHEWING my food. It was the first time she had said anything to us or checked on us at all, and it was to get us to leave to she could bring in another table. Anyway, because it was my friend's birthday, he asked to see the desserts and ordered a dessert, which the waitress treated as if it were an inconvenience. Then, again, the second he finished, she arrived and dropped the bill on the table (didn't even ask this time if were were finished). Despite this lack of service, I still tipped well (18-20% if I remember correctly) because it's just what I normally do. So after paying the bill and all of us tipping well too, we put on our coats and scarves, etc. (which took a minute because it was freezing out and we had to bundle up), and I said oh, just one second, I want to put something in your birthday card (we're talking like 30 seconds of time here) and was doing that when the waitress came and straight up just said to us, "Can you leave now so we can sit another table of people?" I was shocked. We were polite and quiet and kind, well-tipping customers. We spent well over a hundred dollars and were only in the restaurant just over an hour. So I don't know what the problem was. I'm guessing it was because it was "dinner hour" and they wanted to get as many customers as possible in and out to maximize profit. And ok, honestly, I understand profit is important, but it's short-sighted to put it so far above service. I have visited this restaurant many times over the years and have always felt a *little bit* of that "Hurry up and eat and get out" vibe, but this time it crossed a line into just being outright rude. In yet another tale, at my previous visit to Arisu a few weeks prior to that one, they said we had to sit outside because there were too many people, despite seating multiple people after us without reservations. It was fine and we sat outside. But then, for literally almost an hour, no one came to serve us or even give us menus and eventually we just got up and left and went to a much nicer and more welcoming Korean restaurant with a *lovely* staff slightly more west on the same side of the road. I like the place, so I wanted to give them another chance, but that was a mistake. I used to go to Arisu pretty often when I lived closer to it and it was never this bad. I don't know if they've changed management or what, but whatever's going on there lately, I'd avoid it, honestly. Long story short? I will not be returning to Arisu.

Came in for dinner Dec 27. They had reduced hours due to holidays that did not reflect the info online but luckily we made it before last call.We got the Grass Fed Black Angus Combo x2 and the Stone Pot Bibimbap. We thought the portion size would be larger for the combo like shown in the menu picture but turns out that picture reflects a x3 order instead of x2. The Black Angus Seasoned Bavette was really nice.

Korean quality and perfectionism at it's finest! While the prices are on the mid-high side this place will not disappoint!Large portions and no compromises on quality will immediately even the balance, and you'll be a regular .n no time!Check out other reviews to see some of the table barbecue pictures. The Black cod, and the grilled mackerel are my favorites but for you carnivores, the meat selection is amazing! Get adventurous and you'll not regret it.

Probably one of the best kbbq places on Bloor. We ordered one of the BBQ combos and it was delicious. The meat was fresh and we'll marinated, the soups and side dishes were also very well done. We also ordered the grape soju which was paired nicely with the meal. The servers were great, especially for how busy the night was. They came and ensured our grill was clean and heat setting was optimal.

Great place for above average Korean BBQ in Koreatown, generally accessible without much of a wait time unlike some other places on the same street. Their galbi are the star of the show and would recommend ordering excess for the table. Their other offerings are reasonably good but unfortunately nothing to write home about. Would avoid the cow tongue- usually it’s a favourite of mine but here it’s not marinated and it’s covered with green onions that make it challenging to grill without burning the topping. Surprisingly some of their tastiest dishes are their sushi rolls, particularly their torched rolls- so definitely give that a try. We made the mistake of ordering a haemul pajeon at a Korean BBQ place and it was as you might expect, underwhelming- bit undercooked and under-seasoned. We ate it regardless as penance for our own error.Service is quite friendly, and the staff are really great but unfortunately bit slow at times. They might be bit understaffed to be honest. The outdoor seating with the portable grills is reasonable but they don’t generate the same type of heat the indoor grills typically do. Cost of this place is also higher than average and I would say a bit higher than what’s warranted for the quality of food (which is very good, but not phenomenal).Hit this place up if you’ve got a craving for Korean BBQ in the area and don’t want to wait for a table at Mapo or Daldongnae.
