Used to come here all the time when I lived at Bathurst and Davenport, more than 20 years ago, in my early 20s. I discovered some of the best vegetarian foods here. Such a welcoming and peaceful place. Will have to visit soon
Food was very bland. Not sure if there were any spices on it. It could have used some pepper at least. There is a tahini sauce that cost extra, which should have at least been included with the dish.
I had ordered chole bhature and Rasgulla from here , but after eating Rasgulla , i had to eat chocolate, it was such a dirty taste and chole bhature seemed exactly like u don’t know how many days it has been made.
Tasty food with a wonderful selection of Indian dishes and a special dosa each day and other specials on Friday and Saturday. Most meals are gluten free. There is also a hearty delicious soup offered. Moderate in price and excellent in quality.
I love this place! Recommend !
Unfortunately we didn't have a great experience. The food was bland and pretty boring. The bhajia was inedible. The sagu was good.
The broccoli and cheese dosa was absolutely delicious, as was the mango lassi.Highly recommend this restaurant!!The service was also very courteous and kind.
For a place with a Chinmoy Swami ashrami vibe, the attitude of the white lady in the saree speaks to the contrary. Her service was subpar to say the least. She gave me proper sass from the beginning and then, when I enquired whether the dosa would travel well, her comments were along the lines of “as long as you are not travelling 5 hours from here, it’ll still be good”. Well, it was not. It was really soggy.I could maybe live with that. But not with the attitude.
Take out last week, enjoyed the masala Dosai (first time!) the sambar with rice dumplings also delicious. Well priced. As a treat the carrot cake -made in house- incredible! Will be back again and again.
Great service, great food! Will be back again.
