I being the main cook at home I never buy food anywhere. However I took a leap of faith and tried this establishment based on all the good things I have been hearing from my co workers who visit there regularly. I was pleasantly surprised on what I ate. The food is great. It is 100% fresh, anyone who cooks food knows how to tell the difference. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
I came in on a whim one day and I must say that this place is a gem in Scarborough. The doubles are great. All their food is made fresh. I would highly recommend their goat curry. It's been a favourite for me and my entire family. Their food is so good, I have relatives of mine traveling from Oshawa just to have a taste. After eating here I will never go anywhere else. Keep up the great work ladies!! I'll see you later for dinner. Lol.
Ordered a few items off the menu. Had a boneless chicken in Roti. It was delicious. Doubles were good. Will definitely return to try more. And possibly update rating…hmmmmn
We got the goat and jerk chicken roti but what we loved the most was the doubles. The doubles is like this flaky, fried dough with sauced chickpeas and folded up like a taco. Not only was it flavourful but filling. Would definitely come here again for the doubles with some meat next time!!
Bought 2 doubles here. I came here because of the reviews and my usual spot was closed on Sunday. The doubles weren't great. They were extremely salty. The salt over powered the flavours. The only reason I'm giving this place 3 stars is because they were fast and the customer service was really good. The food wasn't up to par and I know good doubles since I'm a Trini.
I am not Caribbean but these are the best doubles i've ever had and being able to put proteins in them. The jerk roti was excellent too. So fresh and moist. Made the trek all the way from downtown Toronto and will glady make the trip again.
Absolutely delicious.!!! Hands down top flavor, made delicately, with pure spice intentions mm perfection in a cuisine, you have to have some of Amira's divine juicy kitchen, now, wow! Thank you!
Got curry chicken roti, doubles, jerk chicken & pumpkin and spinach for dinner and every single thing was SO tasty!! Best doubles I've ever tasted in my life. A little bit more pricier than other roti spots in the area, but worth the money for the taste. Also, such great customer service! Only note would be that the roti could have a little more filling for the higher price. That would take it to 5 stars.Keep up the great work!!!
Really solid doubles!! Nice there’s an option for adding meat too!The roads in the area are a bit confusing though, and so be careful about ramp to enter into this plaza area. Sidewalk is low.
Walked by this gem and I am so glad I tried it. The doubles are delicious and reasonably sized. Thank you to the staff who made this for me early in the morning!
