There’s a sign that says “Kindness” right by the cash machine. And the staff here certainly live up to that. Not only is the food delicious, the service (even though it’s a take out) is what really makes Allwyn’s stand out. Also did I mention that the food is delicious?! Try the oxtail.

best jerk chicken in the city hands down food is made with love and if it's your 1st time? grab a jerk chicken sandwich or a patty with coco bread and you'll never stop going back

I was excited to finally try this place. 4 locations in the city. Been around for years. The chicken breast wasn’t even cooked! Red! Disgusting. Not impressed. Patty was oily and crust chewy not flaky.I do however appreciate the quick response and refund.

Food is ok. Nothing great. Yesterday while covid numbers are at the highest recently, from the back, out walks a guy without a mask?! Like, really? Just because the lady at the front has a mask on, don’t trust what’s going on behind the scenes. I saw it with my own eyes. I turned around and left before I ordered.

I’ve had the jerk chicken sandwich a couple times, it’s a great quick cheap bite to eat. Good portion size for under $10. Idk what it is about the slaw, but I really like it, and usually I’m not a big fan. Pretty small inside, limited places to sit. But fast, great for grab and go. The guy at the counter was great to very helpful.

What an amazing quick bite. The Jerk Pork Sandwich was such a great combination of soft bread, holding the crunchy coleslaw and the juicy and tender pork slices.Such a nice balance of the three. The slaw is able to cut and complement the pork slices nicely. Highly recommended!!!

best jerk pork on coco bread with coleslaw sandwich in the city!!!

Jerk chicken was tasty and had a good kick. Patties were just ok.

I like the spicy beef patties here. But recently I got the oxtail with rice and while it wasn’t bad, it wasn’t great either. It was just a fairly mild tasting curry. For the price though there portions are super generous and will definitely fill you up!

I have had the original Allwyn's at Donwood plaza. Is it just me or the more locations you open the food just doesn't taste as good. I ordered a jerk chicken sandwich today and the coco bread was not good, the bread makes the sandwich this bread had no flavor it was not soft and fluffy. Then the beef patties seem greasy and salty, At some point did these patties go into a deep fryer? Very disappointed as I know how the original food tasted and this was not it ?
