I frequent this Roti shop more than any other in the city. I love the goat Roti. It is my favourite. They also make amazing doubles. And their homemade hot sauce is incredible!!! The beef patties are a great go to snack. I have yet to try their homemade ice cream but I bet it is amazing (I will try it soon and report back). The peanut punch is refreshing, though it tasted watered down the last time I had it.
This place has been there forever. On a busy crowed road, Queen street area near Jamieson in Toronto. Street parking or paid parking across beside Dollarama. Delicious food and good service. The place is small and not fancy but clean with pictures of the Caribbean. I enjoyed a king fish and rice with some difficulty because it was spicy and they do not sell milk but he told us we can get from the convenience store next door and bring it back to enjoy our meal. Milk really works. Hubby had curry chicken roti. Tasty?.
West Indian (Trinidad and Tobago). They have everything from the small island. Ordered chicken Roti, aloo pie and doubles (pictured). Good experience, service was good.
I'm not a very frequent customer but every time I stop by I'm very happy with the food, the service and the atmosphere. As a Trinidadian, I can definitely say this place makes me feel at home. On my most recent visit I went for a doubles and ended up getting some Mauby concentrate, mango vegan ice cream and I also learned that their pone is vegan... basically anything that doesn't have meat in it is vegan but always ask to make sure. The person at the cash was so enthusiastic and cheerful that I just wanted to try everything! I'll need to make more visits here now that I know they are so vegan friendly!
Hands down the BEST curry I’ve tasted in Canada, the staff is soooo friendly and go the extra mile to ensure you enjoy the food. The roti, snacks & drinks taste straight from Trinidad and I’m in love with it. Highly highly recommend, so pleased. Wow
I am a long time customer of Ali's Roti and they never disappoint when I visit them. They have the best doubles and Roti dinners in the city! The food always taste like food from back home in ?? Trinidad. The staff is always friendly and helpful. If you ever get a chance to visit the shop, please leave them a little tip. I'm grateful they survived the challenges of the Pandemic and stayed resilient through it all. Will always support the crew at Ali's!
Love their chickpea doubles. So hot and fresh and the dough is like pillows! Always fast service too, when when they’re busy.
We ordered Paratha Rotis, chicken & beef, regular roti & soup. Excellent.Ordered it for p/up. Ready on time & it couldn't be better.
Wonderful experience...The food was top notch we tried chicken jerk curry and chicken curry with paratha and that was the best decision we made this day..One paratha was more than enough for one person.The price was nominal compared to quality..Must try.....Definitely will become routine customer....
I wish I had more pictures of what I order to display. The food we ordered from here is absolutely delicious. The jerk chicken was so yummy and spicy. The rotis we order were on point too. I’m totally ordering back from Ali’s.
