Very good, just wish the menus had more formality. The whole bistro theme could have been substantiated by cutlery with black handles. A paper menu is just not appropriate for a bistro.

We have always enjoyed the creative menu choices. However, the last 2 visits we didn’t enjoy our selection as much as usual. This won’t deter us from returning

It was such a lovely experience at the Bistro. The service is super and the food is really good. We will definitely be there again.

The staff were welcoming and the food and service was great. No hurrying people along.

The server did and excellent job. He was pleasant and helpful throughout the meal. We loved the food: the trout dish was exceptional as was the felafel dish. Thank you.

Oh how to sum it up?! Our lunch was well served and the most delicious creative dishes we could have hoped for. Smoked salmon the best I’ve ever had, maybe similar to fresh smoked salmon at one bed and breakfast in rural Scotland. Delicious rainbow trout roasted perfectly. Accompanying fresh vegetables were prepared perfectly with many different seasonings and fresh herbs. Our white bean soup with fennel fronds was creamy comfort food. The building is by Gehry, so of course also creative and fresh.

As usual, we enjoyed sharing our lunch with each other at the AGO Bistro last Friday, the last event in our 2-day “away” before heading for the train station. Two tasty vegetarian choices were our selections today- carefully prepared and quite satisfying, giving us energy for our travel afternoon.

Delicious food and ambience. A little pricey but I will return

I loved the ambiance but my mushroom tarting was almost inedible apart from the egg and salad. The toast was burnt and the mushrooms were way too salty. I didn’t want to ruin the experience for my friend so I didn’t complain. Very disappointed in the food.

Adequate but not as good as I was expecting. . .too bad. It will be awhile before I try again.
