the staff in the kitchen did not wear gloves while making the burgers, service was slow, only one cashier on a Saturday evening and only one cook in kitchen
Overnight workers constantly messing up my order even when it’s not busy and I always order politelyUpdate: the same guy messed up another order (through Uber eats pickup this time) within a month of me writing this review. It’s always the same guy too, I think he’s a bit mentally disabled or something
A&W coupons are the way to go. 2 teens burgers for $9.99 was a nice lunch split between my wife and I. 2 combos are $14.99. You can easily find them online.
I went here after Mass to have a coffee and I have to say it's impressive...clean restaurant...nice staff and great coffee...I hope they sell the coffee in bags one day so I can take home to make in the morning.
Some of the worst service at a fast food business I have ever received. Front counter staff doesnt even understand their menu. To top it off they messed up my burger then literally scraped the toppings off and put it back together unapologetically. I wouldn't go back here if I was on the verge of passing out from hunger.
Got out of a show at 12 and came for a late meal, it took 40 mins to make 4 burgers. We missed the last train home because of the slow service. Food is poor and service was horrible.
I've lived within 2min for a few years now. A&W Canada's app didn't allow online orders until recently somehow, but hilariously this location didn't meet requirements or got kicked off for some reason or other. Now get this...because of that issue a manager of theirs recommended I call in for orders instead, yet they apparently can't guarantee they'll start prepping orders over the phone, and (having asked why nobody picked up the phone the other night) in person I was informed they also don't answer the phone at night.I've never seen it busy in there, yet don't think I've ever not gotten an apology about how long the wait was for how unexpectedly busy it was. Foods what you would expect from a standardized food chain and front-line staff are friendly. Damn I should invest money in something like this I think.
This a&w franchise is packed in the A.M. but the service and team is really great. The coupons work and the establishment is pretty clean
The A&W branch at Bathurst and Bloor is usually good. Today, my breakfast came with no utensils and the eggs were brown which meant the griddle was dirty. Why do they keep changing personel??
I am so sorry to learn that the ownership is changing at our favorite breakfast and late night hunger burger joint. You and your staff will be greatly missed and i am so sorry you couldnt hang on just a little longer. In my opinion I think A&W Canada and the landlord should have taken some kind of action, reduction in rent and some kind of subsides to help stores like yours to keep going. 4 years now, very sad news indeed... you will be missed.
