It’s a doughnut, really really great doughnut. Staff and experience was very nice. Clean spot.To be clear: There are no Persians here. No farci, no Iranian chai, no photos of Tehran or Isfahan ?Italian owned with Italian pride. There is a very nice story about why it’s called the Persian man.
I always love going here especially when I come in from out of town I used to live in Thunder Bay I now live in Weyburn Saskatchewan and everybody that has the Persians back here love them and they want more I can't wait to come back and get more to bring back here
Definitely one of my favourite stops in TBay but my visit there today was a bit of a bummer and only for a minor reason. I ordered some blueberry Persians and all was fine and dandy until they served them to me unwrapped in a plastic bag. When I went to go eat one most of the blueberries were rubbed off and half the icing was either stuck to the bag or the neighbouring bun. I personally believe they should all be served in a box right side up - just makes sense. Anyway just wanted to point out a minor flaw ;)
I have yearned for the go to soup and sandwich spot for years. Rainy day. I felt like a hero for suggesting this place to my wife, heard good things... Another " support local thunder bay" failure. No soup? On a Saturday? The two overworked employees there are NOT to blame. Management is. I'm sure the owners had a nice weekend. Don't make your employees clean grills when open. Dirty joint. Someone must have an in with the TBDHU. The A rating on the door is a lie. Heavy grime on kitchen floors and garbage cans, dirty bathroom and dining areas, customer garbage and recycling cans filthy. Not today dirty either. Days dirty. This reflects badly on Benetts bakery. I will now avoid their improperly cut buns as well! Worst I've seen in my 16 years here.
Persian man but not Persian, I believe you can find the best wraps here better than Tim Hortons or java but or pita pit, The Persian man is on another level.
A friend suggested we stop in and the Persian man did not disappointCoffee was excellent and the Persian was phenomenal.
We did a fund raiser and they were Kind and Amazing and of course Persians were delicious ????Thank you from the bottom of our heartsTami from Ignace School ❤️
Holy smokes the Persians are absolutely delicious! Now i'm hooked and about to live in edmonton! Hopefully I can find something similar to fill the void until I can pass back through again.
We came here for the famous Persians and were not disappointed. They are delicious and very inexpensive. We showed our proof of vaccination in order to sit down and eat. We were only there for coffee and Persians but the lunch menu looked excellent.
Had been referred to go there for the Persian...very tasty!
