New to Thunder Bay, and have been to Nook twice in the last couple of weeks. Delicious, fresh and creative dishes. Amazing pizza, and sandwiches! Service is friendly and fast, and both indoor dining and the patio are beautiful and relaxing ! Highly recommend trying Nook if you haven't already!
We had dinner last night and it was a clean modern restaurant. The inside was booked but the patio was available which was good as the inside was too noisy for my ears. The menu is small but varied but what was surprising was no entrees with the usual chicken or veal which are standard in most Italian restaurants. My wife had Gnocchi which were very good and was able to order some Italian sausage for it from the pizza menu. I had the Diavol pizza which had a very nice crust but was a little short of sauce, meat and cheese. The salads and appetizers are expensive and there is no side salad available. The service was exceptional with all the waiters looking to help out. We enjoyed our dinner but thought there could have been more options.
Really delicious, beautiful atmosphere and the service was good! I did however find the portion size of my pasta to be too small for the cost. I left feeling still hungry (not your usual Italian dining experience). Definitely worth checking out though.
Beautiful patio , delicious food and comfortable atmosphere . authentic Italian pizza was Bangin!!Drinks were fabulous and service fantastic! Desserts were melt-in-your-mouth delectable! From out of town and came here multiple times to eat and drink. Will NOT disappoint!
I got the meatballs and focaccia for ~$17 and it was okay— it came with 4 meatballs and 3 pieces of focaccia. Flavour of the sauce was okay— a little bit sour— and the bread was dry and oily.BUT, my friends got the margherita pizza and the mal falde pasta— and those were delicious!!

Our lunch here was good excepted the service. They were busy chatting to each other.. strange that they let us seats then ignored us for 15 mins ?
We arrived there, were told to wait by one server and then another server arrived 5 minutes later even though there wasn't much going on. Servers were chatting around with customers (not serving).We were seated, quickly asked how we wanted our water and then given said water. But then we were forgotten, no one came to our table to ask if we wanted to order drinks or food even though multiple servers passed by us and looked at us. We waited for 15 minutes and no one came.A couple and then a group that came in after us was seated and served immediatly. They got drinks and everything. It was sad because the food and atmosphere looked and felt really nice.
Expensive and not that great. Had pizza and gnocchi special. Pizza was soggy and the gnocchi was oddly sweet and mushy. Most of the servers were lovely though. Thy the pasta if you're going maybe you'll have better luck.
Very friendly staff, clean and attentive.
