Manchu Wok has always been my go to resto anywhere in Canada. This one in Thunder Bay is thumbs down — the servings are small, the only one that has a big serving is rice.
I love this place. But last year it was better. I think they changed cooks. Maybe one year before. They were often closed during covid. I still like it buts not as it used to be Thunder Bay location. I’d like to find he cook they used to have.
Was so happy to see open after it had been closed during the pandemic and for kitchen renovations. The prices have increased, I paid $30 for two 2 item dinners. The food quality and quantity has really gone downhill. The sweet and sour pork was very fatty and had one good piece out of the entire serving. They used to have the best honey garlic chicken, but now there is a thicker coating of bread and the sauce is not the same. The rice portion is about half of what it used to be. The only good thing about the whole meal was the chicken balls, which were tasty but half the size of what the used to be I will not be going back sadly. Used to be my favourite place to eat in the mall.

Honestly I was so happy they were open in the mall after this long pandemic quarantine. It was a taste of things going back to normal and felt really nostalgic. ?
Love it great value great food and staff are always helpful wished they delivered.
I love this place the noodles are always good and the lemon chicken on Thursdays and Saturdays just delish! Always a lunch time selection for me!
