Awesome restaurant experience with delicious and fantastic Italian dishes. Our server, Trevor, was absolutely amazing and helped to space out/organize our dining experience perfectly. We ordered the arancini to start followed by the blood orange salad. Both were unreal! For our mains we ordered the Dry-aged bistecca and the Fettucinne alla Giorg. Truly unbelievable. We finished with a chocolate Budino and pistachio/dark chocolate cannolis. The experience was by far the most upscale and fine dining in Thunder Bay by far. The food and service were truly awe-inspiring - thank you Trevor and la squadra di cucina ???
Friday night I had the pleasure of celebrating my 30th birthday at Giorg. We had a reservation for about 30 people. Staff was amazing, atmosphere was perfect and the food… WOW! I had Selected a prefixed menu and I will be dreaming of that pasta for weeks, so tasty!!!! Everything was perfect. Thank you to all the great staff that worked that night.
Fresh made pastas, Caesar salad was very good, enjoyed a cocktail, husband had a beer. Extensive wine list. Our server plus the other staff were very mindful of our tables needs, filling up our water, removing dinnerware. I move here three years ago and regret not coming her sooner. This will be our new go to special occasion as we both love Italian, and let me add, it's done right! So happy we have this caliber of restaurant here in Thunder Bay. A little hard to find but use google maps, it will guide you, Street parking.
Great staff dinner with the sharing/family menu. There was way too much food, which they kindly packed up for us to take home. This is my favourite restaurant in town for good reason!

My wife and I went here for a nice Italian dinner, and the service and food were exceptional. We shared a starter, a salad, a pasta special, and the rack of lamb and then had some room for desserts and coffee/tea. The house pinot grigio was very nice too. We highly recommend Giorg Cucina e Barra in Thunder Bay.
We love celebrating our anniversary at Giorg’s . The service is 5 star , knowledgeable staff of the history of the restaurant, knowledge of the menu , small details like setting up the napkin as we left to the restroom , taking away any crumbs left on the table to keep it clean while dining . The food is aLways on point , 5 star quality to the chefs preparing it . Atmosphere is always classy ….. would recommend top 3 restaurants in Thunder Bay ? Cheers and thanks for allowing us to celebrate 19 yrs together will always be back ….. the hoard
Waitress from Valhalla Inn recommended this as the best Italian restaurant in TBay. Lived up to Cathy's recommendation. Great food, great service and great ambience. Trying to impress a date. Take 'em there.
The food is delicious, but what makes this restaurant totally worthwhile is the service. Trevor and Brad are absolute masters at their craft. This restaurant may seem a bit out of the way, but don't let that stop you from enjoying one of the best dining experiences Thunder Bay has to offer.
Hands down the best dining experience I have ever had anywhere. The food, atmosphere and service hard to debate what was the best part. no detail overlooked it is more than a dinner it is an experience.
