Waited 1hr 25mins for our order just to be told our order got lost. I know they already take forever which is why I call in my order extra early.
We’ve ordered delivery/takeout a few times and have never been less than impressed. Tonight we cooked up a frozen pizza (the George’s Market) and the streak continues! It was truly fantastic - no more big name frozen pizzas in this house.Keep up the great work.
I had chicken Kabob pizza and it was delicious ❤️10 out of 10!perfect crust and best thing is they give back to community always
Delicious. Had pizza and garlic bread was great. Will go back again.
Take a double double pizza, let it cool down, then pop it back in your home oven at 350 for half an hour. Trust me, you’ll save yourself the criminal prices they charge and end up with an equally low quality product.I’m not exactly sure what people love about this place other than the fact it’s local. Now don’t get me wrong, this review doesn’t come from one bad experience. I gave them their due chance. I’ve tried regular pizzas, custom pizzas, specialty pizzas, calzones, desserts, the works! But it sucks. The crust is tasteless, tough, and dry. It’s like there’s no “cooked”. It’s only ever floppy chewy and tasteless, or dry overcooked and tasteless. The toppings? Don’t even get me started. This is the biggest travesty. How exactly do you get top quality local ingredients, put them together into what should be the crown jewel of pizzas, and still come out something with quality subpar to that of even Double Double. Even that is too much credit, think 2-4-1 pizza at 2am. How do they make their pizzas so *dry*. Seriously how?? Do they mop the grease up on the way out of the oven? Do they cut their cheese with Oil-Dry?? That’s not even mentioning how sparse the toppings are, especially the premium ingredients. In all seriousness though this place needs to get better. If you’re the owner reading this I don’t want to be comped, I don’t want free food or your money. I want better pizza. Take some pride and improve your crust. Bump up those ingredients by a few grams. And for $30 for a pizza I really hope your staff are well paid. Thunder Bay pizza is terrible in general but I would expect “eat local” to be better. It’s honestly a shame.
Grocery store pizza at a fraction of the price is way better. All hype. I bought a two slice special and they didn’t even warm it up and also ordered a gourmet large pizza and it looked like day old pizza. Will buy from grocery store next time. Over priced.
I have had most of their pizzas, and I can genuinely say you cannot go wrong with any of them. The quality is in the name, and they live up to it.Eat local has done an amazing job at showcasing local ingredients on their pizzas. The cheeseburger pizza is amazing, and if you are a fan of pickles, "pickle's from Jim's mom" are something you have to pick up while you are there. Also, get the Caesar salad, they have a pretty great one, don't miss out.
Got to try a few of their pizzas and I didn’t know why the heck we have been postponing ordering from them. The perogie pizza was so good. It might be too sweet for others but it works for me!
Thunder Bay EAT LOCAL PIZZA THANK YOU!!! Having no where to go for a dinner wasn't bad at ALL this year. ? I appreciate the volunteers who came in to prepare the pizza on a day off! During these times... Thank you again
Complete garbage, waste of money, Walmart or superstore Dellissio much better value.Owner seemed ok....but didn't comp like he said he was going to. Picture speakes for itself. Why Grey crust?
