Amazing bubble tea! I had the oreo bubble tea, and it is something unique and creative. I also tasted the manga sago, the black tea latte, and the bursting boba lychee, and they were all very well made. The fruit ones were very juicy, and the milk teas were rich. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.I also got playing cards, which is very nice from them. The ambience is very relaxed and many seats to enjoy your drink.
Service is not bad, but the boba is very hard and that alone warrants a failing rating. This is the first time I'm trying out this place. (FYI I tried it right away, didn't wait or fridge the drink)The price is on the med-high end which made me expect it to be on the good quality side but it wasn't.The cream mousse is something special that I haven't tried from any other places before which is interesting. It doesn't have much taste to itself (except a very light whip cream like taste if you allow it to melt on your tongue without the tea), so it compliments the sugary milk tea and boba pretty well.I ordered 50% sugar which I find still pretty sweet. I normally order 100% at Coco and <50% at Chatime just for reference. So I'd say it's sweetness it closer to Chatime's.I might give it another try and see if the mochi bobo is still the same bad next time ? My colleagues apparently thought it was ok so maybe I was just unlucky.
The service is really bad. I waited for half an hour to get my drink even though there're only 4 people in front of me. And the staff made the wrong drink but didn't even apologize
If you think you know what bubble teas are, but have not tried Tiger Sugar, then you don't know how much bubble teas have evolved. This Tiger Sugar has a lot more variety compared to regular bubble tea shops, even compared the other Tiger Sugar stores in Atlanta. Their staffs took tremendous amount of time explaining to us of their new signature drinks and food on the menu. They have very innovative bubble teas and bring a lot of different favors to this product. We will be back to try more of their product.
Drinks are definitely on the pricier side but they have lots of choices and options. It is one of the best place to get bubble tea.
Was craving for mango, so we tried the new mango sago drink. The quality was definitely unmatched to the $9.6 after tax for a drink that leaves an itchy throat feeling after consuming. The small portion of mango was hard and sour, the only thing that made the drink bearable was the sago, even so, we weren’t able to finish the drink. If we were ever back to tiger sugar, we’ll stick to the original milk tea. Overall, a disappointing experience with the new mango drink.
Tiger Sugar has been one of my favourite bubble tea shops... until now. I'll preface this and say that normally the drink quality is top notch during peak hours and service is unmatched when the owner is there. My friends and I came around closing today (Mon Dec 6th) - we each ordered the Black Sugar Boba Tofu with Cream Mousse. We noticed that our drinks didn't have the 'Cream Mousse' - I was okay without it, but my friend went back politely explaining the situation to the barista to which she replied saying that the cream mousse was not included in the drink (it's literally in the name). The barista rolled her eyes at us and said "do you want it or not" like we were bothering her.I then took a sip of my drink and noticed that the tapioca was really undercooked. Normally I let these things go but it was to the point where I had difficulty chewing every single pearl. When I told the barista, she got really defensive and said I was LYING, "there was no way that it could have been undercooked, it's impossible". I was really apologetic and asked if she could remake it - she then proceeded to grab my drink, slammed it into the trash, and reluctantly remade it (no apologies, no accountability, just silence, glares, and another eye roll). Her overall attitude made us really uncomfortable, acting like we were in the wrong for asking for our drink to be made properly. I've had my fair share of times working as a barista during a closing shift and understand how tiring it is, but it's no excuse to take out that frustration onto customers. After reading all the recent 1 star reviews about the service (our barista btw was a girl with glasses and short hair) it's clear that this location needs to work on training their employees on how to treat customers better and resolve conflict effectively.
The downtown and scarborough location are consistent every time i go However, I have been to this location twice and they got my order wrong both times…. My boyfriend went to order the brown sugar boba milk + pearl with cream mousse pointed at the drink on the drink menu but the lead barista rudely insisted that it was the boba tea latte. My boyfriend came to get it replaced. The male barista was going to replace it for free but the lead barista decided to charge my boyfriend again for the drink even though it was the baristas mistake. The replacement drink was made with sour milk. We then went back to get the correct drink but the lead barista yelled at me and blamed him for ordering the wrong drink. The lead barista called their manager and told she cannot replace the drink because he already paid for it. She then ended up giving me the correct drink and said it it was a one time exception after going back and fourth of her rudely grunting and yelling at me. I will definitely not being going to this location as it seems like the quality and service is poor. I do not recommend this location at all.
Good bubble tea and a large selection. I enjoy their warm bubble tea a lot in the winter. Slightly expensive but that is expected at higher end places.
First time I came here and I got the new lychee burst and my sister got mango sago. The price was high - bill was over $18 after tax for two drinks. Both of us agreed that the bubble tea here tasted watered down. I got 30% sugar with no ice but the tea tasted more like flavored water than tea, similar to how tea would taste after refilling hot water using the same tea bag several times. For the price, this was definitely not worth it; there are many bubble tea places nearby that are either cheaper or better.
