If you love Korean comfort food this is the place! The rosé tteokbokki is very flavourful. My personal favourites are the tuna kimbap and the spam bowl. Simple dishes, but they really hit the spot. I will definitely be back. :9
Came here with a friend to try this place out. Small place but cozy. Tteokbokki was good, the normal spice level was too spicy for me (that’s my fault for assuming I could handle it) and the fried fish cake was so good too. My favorite was the tuna rice bowl. My friend ordered the rose tteokbokki and that was so delicious! Would come again whenever I get cravings. There’s some parking in the front of the restaurant but just go thru the side street for more parking.
I'm not much of a tteokbokki fan, but I'm a big fan of Sinjeon's tteokbokki! I love the toppings, the other dishes, and the atmosphere reminds me of Korea. I particularly liked the rosé tteokbokki with vermicelli noodles, though we had to order a mild spicy level because it's quite spicy at the normal level.
What a great find! We ordered K-Rose Combo and cheese sticks. The Rosé tteokboki was absolutely delicious! The spam rice bowl was surprisingly good, too! The personal touch of cute drawings on the lids was an added bonus and we love it! Looking forward to come back and try other items on the menu.
I got there a bit late near to qclosing so qcouldnt experience dining in here but the food was absolutely amazing. So far the best tapokki I've had in Toronto.I ordered the sinjeon tapokki with fish cakes and cheese along with tuna kimbap and deep fried shrimp. The serving size was pretty good. We were 2 people and were stuffed by the end of the meal. The price range is also very affordable. Cost me like $15 per person.
Delicious Korean street food! Ordered takeout at the restaurant and the staff were super friendly. Had to wait a little longer than usual and the staff were very apologetic for it and gave us an extra fried set on the house. Super friendly and super delicious food! The cheese tteokbokki had the cheese pull and the mild wasn't too spicy. Overall would definitely visit again!
Rose set menu + u-don!! Best for lazy sunday afternoon! Creamy and spicy!!
This cozy restaurant has great service and foods.I love the rose topokki with wide vermicelli and cheese!Such nice sweetness and spiciness.
I got the rosé tteokbokki and the original sinjeon one. For the rosé, we ordered the regular spice level, but it tasted spicier than original tteokbokki, so I recommend leveling down the spice levels. I also like the variety of toppings provided (especially the 중국 당면). The place’s atmosphere is more of a café vibe-wise rather than some big restaurant, but it’s still a pretty cute place. Portions are not huge or expensive, but it can cost more and have a bigger portion if you add extra toppings. It’s a nice place overall, will probably visit again! <3
The rose tteokbokki was soooo good!! The fried cheese sticks, kimmari and cheese ball were also yummyy ? This was my third time visiting here and the food is always good. Also, 10 percent discount if you pay in cash!
