bland. old dry meat. flavorless bread. i order from Deja Vu and Me-va-me and they have flavor and restaurant quality. the portions there are much better than here too. this tastes worse than homemade. simple bland bread, simple chopped tomatoes and cucumbers and a teeny tiny portion of old dry chicken. i ordered a wrap and the chicken was two tablespoons. do yourself a favor: buy a whole rotisserie chicken, flatbread, hummus and whatever veggies you want, put it together, and you'll make a wrap that's 10 times better. and cheaper too.
Excellent food! We ordered the Chicken sandwiches and they were amazing! The customer service was also wonderful! The staff were all so sweet!
Just moved to Richmond Hill and wanted to find a new quality schwarma spot. Lazeez and Osmows is everywhere but I've never enjoyed their food at any location. Fortunately this spot is right around the corner from me and decided to give it a try. The wrap itself at this location is very different from other places - made with quality ingredients and large. The chicken is VERY good quality - having some issues with texture I notice right away if it isn't and it usually ruins my meal so I was super pleased to not bite into cartilage or rubbery chicken. Their sauces are very flavorful and their options for toppings are better than most places. Only issue I found was different portions of hummus for different customers - I love hummus and only got one tiny spoonful. The customer who didn't ask for extra got 3 right after me. I also always ask for feta but so far have yet to actually taste any feta in my wrap - feeling it's not enough or not being used even when asked but hopefully I'm wrong because i always ask at the cash and pay extra for it. I really enjoy this spot and the workers thus far have been friendly and quick and it's become my new favorite.*Just wanted to edit and add that on my next visit I did ask to see the serving size for feta and for 1$ it is a very pleasant amount and they were more than happy to show me. Thank you!*
The food is ok. The reason for the one star review is the service. I asked for garlic sauce and I was told I cannot have any because I already asked for hot sauce and for salad dressing. They said it is extra. With this kind of attitude and service I am not returning to this place. I don’t need my family to fight over garlic sauce.
Just ate a chicken Donaire sandwich. Damn that was tasty
Got a takeout shawarma wrap. Was a good go-to option for anyone having trouble choosing.
This restaurant is horrible, they use meat that is several days old and try to hide the smell by warming it up and re cooking it. Showed me how they cut their shawarma fresh yet take my pita to back to fill it with half frozen meat. Horrible horrible service.
The way they make the shawarma is very different from other places. The complaint I have always had with shawramas was that the garlic/hummus or other sauces were not evenly distributed. Well, these guys have solved that problem. This location in particular is on the smaller side, but their food is excellent
Very very overpriced. Very small portions especially the mixed grill. Much better off going to all the other Turkish restaurants in North York Keele Wilson and Steeles corridors. I felt robbed. Good quality is decent at best.
I ordered two meals, the Caesar chicken was good but disappointed to find the CHICKEN HUMMUS were basically 3 smears of hummus on the side of the oversized container with small pile of chicken for $12.38!! I watched her use a small white takeout teaspoon and spooned 3 spoons into the takeout container!!! I thought she was just using that to decorate the sides, but shocked to see that was what I was getting. We had to scrap the hummus off the sides with the chicken. Will not order again! Not worth the price.
