The chocolate ice cream was delicious, but the gold didn’t really taste like anything and it was for appearance. It was fun to try once, and I think it was pretty expensive. Staff was nice.Price range ?: $$$-Follow me for more reviews ☺️My Instagram: @mortgagebyarghavan
We ordered the Horlick and White rabbit flavours with charcoal icecream cone. One had gold tin foil and the other had the silver tin foil on the icecream. Wow, loved it! Icecream was smooth to just bite into and not hard like your typical icecream. Portion was decent and the aesthetics are on point the way the icecreams came out.
Different style gold ice cream I like it
Ordered the Horlick ice cream cone. The flavour was spot on but the consistency was very watery. The ice cream dripped down my hands as soon as I received it. The cone did not have a satisfying bite as it was soaked by the ice cream. The flavours are worth a try but the consistency did not meet expectations for the price.
Loved the horlicks icecream !!! . must try. Earl grey was so so.
Ordered matcha soft serve in a cup and white rabbit soft serve with charcoal coneTaste: 1/5White rabbit did not taste like the white rabbit candy. Perhaps it had a very slight hint of white rabbit taste upon first lick but that was about it. The ice cream just tasted bland and cold, ice ratio seems to be way higher than the flavour. Honestly, McDonald’s vanillas soft serve is better than this at a fraction of the cost. This bland icecream costs $6.50 plus tax. If you want to reminisce childhood moments, the actual white rabbit candy will likely bring you more satisfaction than this costly, flavorless, high calorie / sugar consumption (regret)Matcha soft serve was equally tasteless to the point that after the first bite, we wanted to ask the server if something went wrong with the icecream. We ordered their store name product which we presume should be a pretty signature piece. Unfortunately, perhaps it was due to lack of customers over pandemic time that they had a back log of ingredients they were trying to use up because the matcha tasted bad! You can literally taste the separation - the bitterness of the matcha powder and then the icy water feeling. We wanted to throw it out after the first bite but lamented over the $15 dollars spent on this piece of JUNK food.Charcoal cone - stale... tasted like an expired cookie/nut... like those times after the first bite, you find yourself checking the back of the box to see if something has expired. Yup, deja vu that moment with this charcoal cone! I did throw this part out in the end.Service-lackIcecream/dessert ordering is meant to be a joyous time... a time when you are also paying for seeing the server scoop/swirl that icecream up for you. Here you get the contactless ordering with an iPad situated outside their cluttered store. No bell or even a chance to say hello at a distance. No person in sight as the store only had the door left ajar with stockpile of stuff blocking the line of sight to where they could possibly swirl that icecream. No giddy or happiness feeling from the anticipation during ordering. Instead, be prepared to be overcome by a sense of rejection, fear and uncertainty (from the store) as you navigate on your own on their ipads in an empty hallway. And due to their lack of available service, we were discouraged to voice our concerns with their icecream. Note: restaurants have already opened for dining indoor at this point (late August 2021).Cost: see those beautiful photos of gold and silver paper on top of the icecream? Be prepared to add an additional $5 ish and & $3 ish respectively. Given the lack thereof quality of their signature icecream items, I am so glad we did not waste additional money.Lastly, don’t buy into those beautiful Instagram photos. They are only photos after all.
A lot of selections here at this place. They have really good white rabbits milk tea, white peach tea with foam and horlicks ice cream. These are the must-try
Excellent ice cream
Great ice cream! We tried matcha and horlicks ice cream in charcoal cone. The ice cream flavours were well pronounced and flavourful. We also asked for spoons via tablet, which were black heart-shaped/spade-shaped.Once you go in, you walk a little further into the plaza, and there're two tablets where you place your order and pay. Pretty cool no-contact service. I doubt it's being cleaned in between each orders though so make sure you use hand sanitizer after ordering via tablet.
June 2021 wanted to try this place for a while now. They serve very interesting and unique Asian flavors like white rabbit candy, Ovaltine and Horlicks. Added option to include edible gold or silver added to the dessert. Charcoal cone or cup. Not cremey like actual ice cream, their "ice cream" has a higher percentage of water and while still tastes very good, is very light. The. Ovaltine certainly tastes like your biting into the biscuit. You could finish eating one and go for another pretty easily. Not bad at all. Refreshing and worth checking out.
