Food was so tasty, came fast as well. Loved the beef tataki and the angry roll!! You have to their Marinated Beef Short Ribs if you haven't tried. It is juicy & full of flavor. The service was great, nice attitude, carious. The price is reasonable for an AYCE sushi restaurant, worth the price I paid for! Definitely recommend and will revisit soon! Thank you guys!!
This place used to be so good. Staff kinda don't care, waitress bit of an attitude, but not terrible. Not attentive, stands around laughing and joking. Male server working, busy, better attention.Would rate 2/5. Quality of the food has gone down. Sorry guys.
They deserve 5 stars. We would have given 6 stars, but we could tell they were not happy we came at 9:00pm. We were the last to leave. But they were always very polite! Their table manners and their service was 100% great. We enjoyed every thing we ordered. Squid, Steak, Shrimp and fantastic Sashimi! They had 7 types of ice cream which blew my wife away. They had our favourite flavour which is coconutAnd to top it off, the price was GREAT!I totally and humbly suggest you try this place if you like AYCE Sushi restaurants. We will be back!Thank you Maple for a great dinner!
Been a regular customer here since I moved to the area and apparently the prices advertised have changed, yet they haven’t updated their website or the iPad’s. Experienced another person previously who got charged a different price that was sitting next to us a few months ago at a previous visit but wasn’t entirely sure as to why so i kept my mouth shut as i didn’t know if they had anything extra or whatever the reason was. I got charged the price advertised that day so I didn’t say/think anything of it. This time, got charged a random price that wasn’t anywhere on the iPad. ($33.99)Employees didn’t even look sure as to what the price was and apparently the prices changed months ago. If the prices changed months ago how are you advertising the price on your equipment incorrectly for so long?! don’t trust the pricing because it seems the price varies. won’t be a regular customer going forward.
Maple Sushi on Disera has been my go to sushi place since they opened! They maintained the quality of the food throughout the pandemic while staying open with only take out at times. Sean is always so helpful and you can tell he takes pride in his restaurant! I bring everyone to Maple Sushi and it will continue to be my favourite spot in the area! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. My favourite rolls are chicken and beef Terriyaki and I’ve never found a place that has had better rolls than Maple Sushi! They have a great menu, wonderful staff, phenomenal service, and an amazing atmosphere!
Service was absolutely horrible. For over 40 minutes there was not a single server around to ask for a water refill. Had a question about a random sushi that was added to our plate. Could not get a server to come clarify what it was for over 40 minutes. The server then tried to claim we had ordered the extra food, which was not true, it wasn't even on the iPad.To top everything off there was a hair in one of the dished ordered and the server didn't seem to know what to do about it.I understand why on Valentine's day this place was empty. Never had such a terrible time at an AYCE as I have here.... Never coming back. I would give this place 0 stars or even negative stars if it was possible.
Terrible experience at Maple Sushi in Thornhill. We came for all you can eat at this location. Shortly after we placed the order, a woman (who I believe was the manager) came up to our table and asked us, “did you guys order 10 orders of fried rice?” I said “no” and passed the IPad to her. She went through the list and started saying that ordering that many noodles and rice will make you very full. She repeatedly told us that it was a lot to order and that we would not be able to finish it all. I believe they shouldn’t call this an “all you can eat” restaurant because obviously the lady didn’t want us to order all that we could eat. She was not nice at all, and her tone of voice made us all very uncomfortable with our food choices (keep in mind that we were a party of 6). Especially, my son, who was triggered by her comments, given his difficult relationship with food.Throughout the meal, no one come to check up on us to see if we needed napkins or water or anything. We had to call them time and time again for water, napkins, and refills for our drinks. If you are looking for an all you can eat experience, DO NOT visit this location. The service is horrible and the manager tried to control what we could and couldn’t eat.The food was also just mediocre. The cheese mussels tasted like the mussels had gone bad because they were sour and super salty. We told her about the muscles, and she blamed it on the cheese. She even brought out the bag of cheese that the chefs supposedly used and showed it to us. The cheese looked fine to us, but she came back later with a bowl in her hand and said that the chef made one for her and that it tasted perfectly normal to her. She stood in the middle of the restaurant and ate it, disputing our feedback right in front of everyone. We also ordered ice cream later on, and my daughter found a blonde hair on the spoon of her chocolate ice cream. It was definitely not ours because all of us have black hair. But her hair is blonde and she served us the ice cream …When it came time to pay, we asked for the bill and we were having issues with the POS machine. The waitress waiting on us to pay, was very tense and extremely rude, projecting her stress onto us. She was crumpling the receipts for the failed transaction and giving us a hard time when we said that we didn’t have a physical card with us. We kindly told the waitress to simply relax and take her time because there was no rush, but she told us that she had things to do. Can you believe it? It was so shocking and unbelievable that I almost couldn’t believe how many bad things kept on happening one after another. When we brought up our feedback and complaints to her, she kept on making excuses for her behaviour, saying that it was our own perspective that we felt that way, etc.We come there to pay for the food and this is the kind of service they offer. Its not worth it to pay for all you can eat. The food was not good and the service is atrocious. You’d be doing yourself a favour by avoiding this restaurant altogether. The Maple location is much better than this one.
Rude staff...awfull services...we went there for all u can eat sushi (buffet)and paid 75 dollar plus tax. They were threw the dishes whenever they were bringing a new order .Be aware folks..avoid going to this location as the waitress are full of attitude . Food Quality was 5 out of 10.Worst Expreince ever.
Great atmosphere, delicious food and much more selection than 168 for much more reasonable prices
Decided to pay this place a visit after a year; had to wait 25 minutes after the order was submitted before any food came out. No apologies or anything from the waitress. They then decide to charge us extra for leftover food… which included a sushi roll that was pretty much all rice. Waitress had the audacity to say it would be a $15 charge for 10 pieces of leftover sushi.Poor service and low quality food. Don’t be fooled by the slightly cheaper price. Not worth even $20 to eat the buffet here. Avoid at all costs.Sushi lacks quality compared to Kaka, 168 and others.
