Yelled for 10 minutes and made a spectacle over a request to exchange a lunch combo that was cooked poorlyAfter speaking to her mother over the phone and lying about my complaint, she insisted several times for me to speak to her mother over the phone.Simple complaints require simple solutions.It only happened after I spoke to the mother.Daughter stated, “you’re not welcome to back here anymore… Trust me, I’m not losing any customers”After reading more than several customer reviews of people who actually sat in this restaurant, it no comes as no surprise that nobody wants to actually interact with them.Continue yelling and act as if you’re doing the customer a favor, we’ll wait for a blogger to put you on the news.
Very poor customer service. Ordered a lunch combo and specifically mentioned that order would be picked-up by someone else and that I required cutlery, napkins, etc., and requested a Diet Coke. Order was delivered with main dish, but no Spring Roll, (was supposed to be included in order), no cutlery, no napkins, no Diet Coke.When I called to report the missing Spring Roll, I was told to call back so that the counter worker could call the owner to discuss the missing Spring Roll with her, as opposed to simply issuing me an immediate apology and being invited to swing by restaurant, at my earliest convenience, to pick one up. Instead, I was offered an extra Spring Roll with a future order, except that I already paid for my missing Spring Roll with my most recent order, and don't think that receiving something that I already paid for, but never received, should be tied to a future order.The worker explained that she wasn't authorized to give me the Spring Roll that I didn't receive and asked that I call back at a later time to discuss the matter with the owner. Not worth my time or effort, but based on principle alone, will never return to Golden Chopsticks, so there won't be any extra Spring Roll with a future order, nor would I recommend restaurant to others. Caveat Emptor. Terrible customer service!
I went to the old location for years, and just went to their new location. It's not the type of food I'd want to eat often, as it's pretty greasy, but I crave it sometimes, and I always enjoy it the few times of the year I go. They have a pretty huge menu, but I limit myself to the few things I crave. I'll keep going, and wish them luck in their new location.
Simple order today. Chop suey tastes like they dropped a whole shaker of salt into it. No consistency to their food! It will be a while before we go back there.

Just so we’re clear, Mali Gafny and her rude husband that seems to be falling asleep because of the amount of sodium he intakes, are genuinely bad people. For those who don’t know who these two are, you probably remember them as the rude and disrespectful people from the front desk. Btw, they own the joint. Let’s just say that your lunch combos are pre-made days in advance, and microwaved to order. Don’t believe me? Call next time you order and they’ll tell you it’s already available for pick up…. What else… o yes, THE FOOD IS TRASH and incredibly overpriced. Just like you, I was reading these reviews and thinking, how the hell does this place still exist, doesn’t the consumer dictate the success of a business?!?! Well actually not, you see Golden Chopsticks is Kosher. In fact it’s the only kosher Chinese restaurant in Vaughn. As any good economist would have predicted, with zero competition and no incentive to improve, they have created a hostile and dictatorship environment, charging what they want, pushing the quality of food to a low standard and as you can see from other reviews, not being really nice people. Back in 2020, you had some phony women write an article about how you lost 75% of your business due toCOVID ?. Here’s something funny, this location is actually moving to a bigger location off of Clark at the Sobeys plaza ?. Plus you pay this elephant looking man, (I don’t even need to say his name) to promote you on various Facebook groups, saying “let’s go out and support them”. Then when people comment about your poor food/service/ price/etc, you have your fat monkey delete the post, or bash them for speaking the truth.The Jewish community has helped you achieve your dreams Mali, and you continue to spit in their face.I wish someone with the stones would open another Chinese kosher restaurant, then you’ll feel the heat and appreciate your customers like a normal restaurant should.

Stay away !!!!!We have ordered a pick up . We have told that the pick up will be ready at 1500 and we were asked to come 10 minutes earlier because of the Shabbat .I have showed up at 1450!!A lady approached me and asked me if I came for a pick up . She added that she has an extra food and I can add it to my order . I thank her and noticed her that I don’t need an extra food .That she checked with the her staff in kitchen and when she find out that I am a head of time she raised her voice and asked me to come back in 10 minutes.10 minutes later upon my returning I was told that the pick up is not ready yet and they need 10 more minutes.I was waiting outside the restaurant 10 more minutes.In the meanwhile the lady called my daughter and was yelling at her why we are not coming to pick our food .My daughter explained to her that we have been a head of time and I am waiting outside the store for the pick up .Out of the blue the exploded and started to yell on my daughter .I do understand that the lady had a tough day and maybe she woke up on the wrong side of the bed . However her behaviour was aggressive And totally unacceptable.For me it was the first and last time at the place.Haven’t face such a customer service in my life .
