We've gotten take out from this place many times before. It's been consistently good and price is decent. The omurice is quite good, the egg isn't as smooth as what your would get in Japan and it's a little on the small side but it's good. Most other things are well portioned. The only thing that doesn't make sense is they are cash or debit only. They don't take credit unless you're ordering from an online platform. Which doesn't really make sense since I'm sure they take an even bigger cut.

Taste: 4/5Service: 5/5Setting: 5/5Definitely recommend getting the Tuna rice bowl!We got the signature beef rice bowl, the tuna bowl, and the ox tongue, both salted and teriyaki. The flavors of the tuna rice bowl were excellent; the wasabi sauce had a hint of wasabi, and wasn't too sweet, and the tuna meat was well proportioned. The beef was a little well done for our tastes and the rice was slightly drier than we were used to but overall with the sauces it was a very good dish! The ox tongue was very well done in both flavors!

Their food is quite delicious and filling (I do think it's reasonably priced too). They also have a rewards program and if you earn enough points, you can redeem free don!To order, you just need to fill out a sheet and indicate which items you'd like to order. When you're ready, you do have to wait for someone to notice or raise your hand to get their attention. They never checked up on us after delivering the food and only came over to bring us the bill once we started getting ready to leave.I have been here a few times (maybe 6-7) and also ordered for take-out in the past during the pandemic. Service has been similar each time I went. I still enjoy the food and would still return with friends!

Food was good and the service was quick. The atmosphere was pretty laid back with friendly servers

First time at Donburi and probably won't be the last. The food is nothing super amazing to be honest but still good! The vibe of the location is really nice though. Very relaxing and a great place to hang out with friends.

Umami don was delish, beef tongue on skewers was alright! Overall nice food and ~vibes~, they have customer drawings on the wall!

Very quiet for a late Sunday afternoon, so our party of 4 was seated quickly. (But kitchen staff were obviously busy with take out/delivery orders.)Overall, I liked the ambiance of the restaurant. The kids liked the free Wifi. The hand drawn art posted on the wall presumably submitted by customers. The big screen monitor played Korra (Nickelodeon not Japanese anime). LOLWestern-sized servings are larger than the ones from the Donburi we visited in HK but that's also reflected in the prices. We enjoyed the Donburi and no-rice Don dishes. The tempura shrimp had a wonderful light crispiness. (I only wish there were more than 4 shrimp to an order.)Our bill was just under $80 before gratuities. Cash or debit only.

I tried donburi for the first time last week and was instantly hooked. A lot of the reviews mentioned they were pretty heavy on the sauce but I personally found that it was just the right amount. One thing that really stood out was how the crust on the katsu was juuuuust right. It wasn’t so crispy that it was unbearable but it also wasn’t too soft they really hit it out of the park. The staff were super friendly and you could just tell it was a nice atmosphere. I definitely plan on eating in next time I visit.

Take out dinner.APPETIZERS:CHICKEN KARAAGE (J5) $7TAKOYAKI (J7) $6.50A delicious ball shape snack with diced octopus hidden inside.BBQ BEEF SHORT RIBS ( J8 ) $10Marinated beef short ribs grilled to juicy perfection. Top seller.ENTREES:CHICKEN OMURICE (G10) 11.50Chicken fried rice in a tomato base wrapped in a thin egg omelette.KATSUDON ( D5 ) $11.98Rice topped with deep-fried pork cutlet, egg, sliced scallions and onionsCame with two complementary miso soups for the entrees which was delicious. Good soup on a cold day is the best! In addition to the miso soup, the omurice, the beef short ribs, and karaage are good and would order these dishes again. The katsudon and takoyaki are both too salty. Because the pork cutlet from the katsudon came in a sealed container for take out, the breading was soft and mushy. It would have been better to put this dish in a container with the ability to vent the steam or pack the meat separately so the pork stays crispy. I’ve seen this done when we ordered take out from other restaurants. The portions are smaller than expected for the price.Overall an okay meal. It’s likely the katsu would taste better with indoor dining instead of take out.

It was my first time ordering take out from Donburi. The service was quick and the Beef Don was really yummy. It tasted like the one from Japan. The price was not cheap for a beef don but the portion was reasonable. You can get 10% off if you pay by cash. Look forward to go back and try other items on their menu.
