We went here when it was busy.The restaurant was clean dispite the crowd and the prices were decent. Good tea too.However the service was not good. We didn't really like our first dish much so we ordered something else. We specifically asked for fried chicken but got the same thing.That dish upset my stomach, but I bet their other dishes would have been better if we got the chance to try them.
My first time at this Congee Queen Location. I like this one better than the Location at Center Mall. It is cleaner, It looks newer and it has more natural light.Good customer service and nice food.Great congee!
Food is great! Authentic Chinese flavours. And the servings are huge!! One order is good enough for 2 or 3 persons! Overall, it’s a must try.
Dropped in for lunch with a friend to see what all the hype was about. Did not disappoint at all. Good service, cool ambiance, massive portions and delicious food. They have a pretty massive menu and I only got to try a few items so far but definitely recommend. Would go back for more.
Came to this Congee Queen location for a quick takeout. We got bbq duck (half) and home style fried vermicelli with shrimp and chicken. Food and service were excellent.
Classic congee restaurant. Great food, service and atmosphere. Yc fried rice was a bit oily seafood was great. Kids loved BBQ pork.
Food and service were both great. We went to the restaurant on Saturday around 9pm and the restaurant was about 60% full. The restaurant strictly followed COVID protocol, the receptionist checked our proof of vaccination and our IDs before leading us to our table. I also saw that they disinfect each table after each the customers left.We ordered Chinese sausage with spare ribs Clay Pot Rice (煲仔飯), it was cooked to perfection... with crispy brown rice at the bottom of the clay pot, and not oily at all; definitely one of the best Clay Pot Rice I've had in Toronto. The beef rice roll and fish congee was also of good quality.The Chinese Marinated Duck (潮州鹵水鴨) was a bit of disappointment, it was served chopped up like Chinese BBQ duck; it doesn't taste or looked authentic.Overall, I would definitely recommend Congee Queen to my friends.
