First time trying this place and I truly do love the food I tried. I Tried the Fried Chicken, Popcorn Chicken, Fried Squid and the Crispy Chicken Sandwhich. The Popcorn Chicken was flavourful and really juicy and had an nice breading and flavour. The Chicken sandwhich was tender and crispy and delicious it would melt in your month and the fried squid I loved alot it was delicious and had an amazing coating. The fries where crispy and tender. I ordered a crispy chicken & a popcorn chicken bento from Uber Eat. I like the crispy chicken, it’s pretty authentic. The popcorn is a bit light to my own taste.The rice is a bit too hard.
We used to like this place but lately it become ridiculous. I understand inflation and rising prices, but it is less than half of what used to be. Fried squids used to be full box, than it was reduced to 3/4 now it is less than a half. Photo shows buckets when we just opened them, and they are 8.99 each.
Amazing fried chicken. I love their tenders and crispy chicken sandwiches. Might be the best in Toronto. Do try their hot and spicy seasoning if you like spicy foods. Fair warning it is pretty spicy
I ordered a Honey Garlic Chicken combo with fish cakes: the chicken was great, it tasted great. The fish cakes were average. Unfortunately though for the price of $15, for the combo, the portions are a bit small. The store is a small store and I question whether this store is actually Taiwanese as the interior decoration and menu has simplified characters. But I digress. Good chicken, bit expensive, probably not real Taiwanese.
Tried a lot of items and they were all delicious! Fries and fried tofu were our faves. Went into a food coma because everything was so tasty and rich in flavour. Service was amazing too. Highly recommend and will definitely be back again!
The fried chicken is addicting! I'm here a few times a month, so that speaks for itself. Popcorn chicken, chicken tenders and volcano chicken are my favorites. Can't go wrong with their wings either ;)
I ordered through doordash. The price on door dash is at least 10% higher than the store price. I know this by reading the restaurant receipt and comparing it to the doordash one. The restaurant deceptively increases prices and gives a "20% discount for $20+ orders" to lure potential customers and make them think they saved money. Basically the owner is trying to earn some easy bucks by putting higher prices on food delivery apps and hope no one figure out. The food was decent, but nothing special. Same taste and portions as your local KFC. I would never order from this place again.
Very yummy, crispy, and juicy. I ordered #2 fried chicken for 2, spicy flavor. Finished the first order of fried chicken in the car, when I arrived home around 1 pm, fried chicken is still very crispy without reheat.
LOVEE their chicken!! Thick juicy pieces of chicken but not only that, they have a selection of Taiwanese street snacks that are amazing! Highly recommend this place and if you come, don’t skip out on their tofu.
